Oh so it's not like a group? Theres a few Newgrounds groups out there, and I couldn't find any that said anything about the meetup, aside from ones that I was promoting. You are actually the only result for 'Ramcees', I'm Lauren, by the way.

Barring some apocalyptic livid nightmare concerning zombies or rabid Frenchmen in Montreal, we intend to book a flight and a train ride tomorrow morning so we can officially say we're officially coming.

Plane: Leave Thursday March 20th in the wee hours of the morn' to arrive at 10 fucking AM in Montreal. Pox better make damn good pancakes. With strawberries and whipped cream. >:|

Train: Depart Sunday the 23rd at 6:30pm or so, ride the everfucking thing for 22 hours and get back at 4:30pm in Halifax (in case you're concerned... for our well being, ... or something).

So yeah. WE'll tell if we had nightmares tomorrow I guess.

i'm sure some of us who may get hotel rooms would be kind enough to drag your unconscious body a few metro stations to home if space is limited on a montrealer's floor (i'm still on the fence about booking a room, or mooching, depends on cash flow. March is a slow month for my area's tourist economy, so I may be broke)

I also have a full size van with pads and blankets in the back on a raised platform (sort of like a bed) instead of a 3rd seat, so I can stay in that if money is tight, if anyone has parking available. I'd offer space others...but the bed isn't too large, and the seats just don't fold down far enough in the front.

Well.. from the past meetups i've hosted / been to.... its probably wise to have a cut off at some point in terms of number of people.. it becomes very unmanageable and difficult to move around and do something with a party of 30... its like impossible to reserve a place to eat.. its too big of a group to go into a bar with... etc etc... the more the merrier but at some point its just unweildy. The montreal '06 group was probably the sweet spot in terms of number of people who made it. We all got in and out swiftly from dinner and the liquor store.

also, I'm anti-social so if too many people are going to go, I'll probably flake. but right now, with the number we're looking at, I'm totally ready to make the trip.
