I'm kinda hoping to avoid spending money on a Hotel, to be honest. I guess it's not a deal-breaker, but I take up relatively little space when passed out and don't give even one iota of a shit where that location is. Seriously, if one of you residents can find it in your heart to reserve me a 2' x 6'1" space to get horizontal, that's all I need. I'll look into getting my passport renewed so I can traverse the border freely and hopefully that'll be that.

luckily as long as you have a birth certificate or your social security card along with a drivers license, you're still OK to go through. a passport isn't exactly mandatory until June or July or something like that.

depends on how rowdy we are. In my area hotels are constantly flooded with large groups and such and sometimes if a few bad apples are there, an entire group may be kicked out of a hotel. Grant it, we aren't on the same corporate account and we may not all be making the reservation under the same name, but it's not uncommon for when a group is rowdy and causing havoc in a hotel, they'll kick those causing the ruckus out and anyone they seem to be there with.

I don't think a cheap hotel is really going to complain about business, especially if they are the kind to be accepting of some non-businesslike groups...I doubt we'd get in much trouble unless we break shit or have the cops called into the hotel.

if all else fails, we get kicked out and then spend our horizontal time in Pox's living room, bathroom, kitchen, bedroom ^_- and infront of his front door.

I just finished looking up prices for flights from Miami to Montreal and they are way more economical than I thought they would be. The flight I'm going to take is for $250 and I'll be arriving on the 20 and leaving on the 23.

Since I have a little bit more wiggle room with my financial situation. I'm willing to rent a room if need be and whoever wants to crash there is more than welcome to as long as you're not getting sick all over the place or are belligerently drunk. No need to split the cost of the room. That'll be my contribution to this meetup. Free crash place to whomever might need it. I'll also spring for the first 10 cases of beer or a keg might be better IMO.

Hey Pox!!! What do kegs go for over there in Canuckia?? I hope you guys can show me what REAL Canadian beer is all about. Also what's the going rates for hotel rooms. If it's pretty cheap I might get two if we get a really big showup. That way everyones guaranteed a ceiling covered floor to sleep on.

No, like, I go into "practice" and just try to get like the blue notes, and about 1/4th of the light up. I know I have the timing perfect, it's not hard to just hit one kind of note, but the game doesn't take it in because of faggishness. But I guess if you're here, I can show you. I could look it up, but if you want a real taste of Quebec beer, you need to get some Unibroue stuff, it's pricier than regular shit like Sleeman and Molson but it's stronger and also better. If you're coming on the 20th, then maybe you and me and Shawn and whoever can go to town and shop around for more specialized weird beers that are like 2.5-3 bucks each.

Well you better get one anyways. You have a month, that's probably enough, just go to the passport office and tell them you need it faster and they can charge you like 20 bucks for speedier service. I got mine in less than a month if I remember.
