we can wait longer to sort out the hotel, as long as I'm in montreal and around fellow ng'ers I'm not too worried

Hotel/Lodging a problem moreso, but I'm waiting to see what everyone else has planned.

I believe Lauren's hitting up a travel agent today. They're pretty good at wheelin' and dealin' good prices. We may have a ViaRail voucher for 50% our ride to New Brunswick because of a delay, so we might nab a train one way and a plane the other.

Yes, I went to my travel agent. It comes to about 478.00 leaving thursday at 6:30 am and coming back either sunday or monday on West Jet. It means connecting through toronto though which I think is a little weird. I'm going to check Porter Airlines.

Hate to tell you but the subway doesn't go there. You need a shuttle bus to Berri-Uqam (metro station) OR you get someone to pick you up. I'm lazy and don't have a driver's license. Plus, I have an exam on the Thursday night (stupid organic chemistry 3).

I could show up friday afternoon and stay until Monday or so. I doubt my fiancee would let me take her car...so I'm stuck with the van of doom. which isn't too bad, since I have a bed in the back of it, incase I can't afford a hotel and the bodies in pox's living room are stacked too high

That's fine, when I came to toronto I took the shuttle downtown, where I wandered around for a few blocks before finding the hotel

well, from 2003 until the username lockdown a year or so ago, i was MALforPresident.

I've been a regular since about feb. 2003

but after a year or so I slowed down a lot, I made my 10,000th post sometime in 2006 and have only made a few thousand since then, I made about 5,000 posts my first year. I don't think I was very active when you first created your account, since it was near the end of 2003 and I had a few computer troubles if I recall. but early 2004 was a good time for my posting.
