I've been planning on showing up in Montreal Thursday. So... hopefully? I'm not going to be around at all on Saturday night, gotta get back home for Easter and then drive back out to school Sunday afternoon because I've got class Monday.

Afro-Ninja and I arrive at Montreal on Thurs. at 5:15 pm. I'm sure we can think of something to do. I surely don't want to show up and go straight to bed. Maybe we can do a pre-meetup hang out thingy and shoot some pool or some shit. I'm down for whatever except for staying in the hotel. =)

Zerok, Lauren Ramcees and I will probably go out in Montreal all day, then go eat dinner somewhere. We should meet up at some restaurant at like 6...

me and pako/frank are arriving to downtown around noonish on fri. Maybe people staying with Afro can hang around there around that time while we check in. Anyone else from out of town arriving on fri?

I'm arriving probably at 2 Friday. I'm taking the inter city bus system greyhound style from Ottawa to there, so they are iffy about times. But a bus leaves every hour. We'll see how things are.

I'm going to UQÀM and we're usually on strike about 2 semesters on 3 :P
The thing is, if we're still on strike, no problem, but if we're not, I have classes all day long. I could join you guys around 8 though. I'd just need someone's cell number to know where you are.

I believe this wont really end late though... since some people are going to wake up really early to take their planes / trains / car and get to Montreal that day. They will probably want a good night of sleep before the fun Friday.

That's kinda the point. The strike is so stupid that the media won't even cover it. UQAM has been on strike for 5 weeks because of the 50$ raise in tuition fees...when they pay the lowest ones (in Montreal at least). Ridiculous.

So far, it seems the strike will go on for at least for a second week (cause our department has been on strike for only a week now, unlike human sciences that have been on strike for 6 weeks now). So count me in if you want to do something on Thursday night. I may not have to money, but I have the spirit!

Oh, I'll be bringing more than that Paradise. I have a dual layer windbreaker, some gloves and a scarf.

A buddy of mine told me there's a foot a snow in Montreal right now. If that is the case I'm going to have to spring for some boots as well.
