I wish I was 5 years older so I could go to this meetup. Oh well.

Daytime activities for anyone interested: Bio-Dome. That thing KICKS ASS. Haven't been there in a decade, if anyone would want to go check that out.

HAHAHAHA. The only cool thing about the bio-dome is the penguins....and I dunno how much Nger enjoy penguins (I think it's 20$ a ticket).

I still suggest Laser Quest because it's uber awesome. And lots, and lots of drinking. Tour of dépanneurs included (non-Quebecers always get a kick out of that). I would suggest tobogganing, but there might not be any snow by the end of March.

Still wondering if it should be more than one day

If lots of non-Montrealers are coming, yes - do it Friday and Saturday night. I don't know how accommodations would work out though. I don't have my own apartment.

Dude, it's for EVERYONE. There's always people we don't really know from the boards who come and it's cool. COME JOIN US O MIGHTY MONTREALER!

I live in Ontario, plus I'm not old enough to go to Quebec by myself, so I can't go.

It could always work that on say... friday. Those who are available can do some of the things DTG suggested. And then Saturday have an official meetup. I would be down with some hanging out for the rest of the weekend, and I'm sure other non-montrealers who are planning to come would be up for it too, if they don't know anyone else. Then Saturday night have the big blow out where everyone gets together and gets drunkkk.

That's the last weekend in my Spring break, and there's tentative interest within some people I'm friends with here to head up that weekend anyway.

What I'm trying to say is: no promises.

Ok easter weekend it is then!

And holy shit, sounds like a LOT of people from a lot of different places are interested! I don't know how many people could crash at our place here... You can put a lot of people on a floor.

Btw it's sort of like bring your own beer and whatnot :p Though you can get mega-plastered for like 10 bucks over here thanks to Black Label 40s.

Btw sorry for all americans that our dollar is worth so much money still. I also wish it could be worth jack shit like it used to in the good old days : (

Ballin! My chances of being there just increased by about 300%. I'll have to check and make sure no prof is being a dick with midterm schedules, but I'm usually home in Ottawa for that weekend anyways!

I have no problem with sleeping on carpet/hardwood. I'm not very big either, so that's a plus.

Yeah, fuck the LCBO and their shitty taxes. I'm hitting the local depanneur and grabbing some Old Mill Ice or Colt 45.

Still fairly early in planning though, things could change.

when you talk, i dont care what it means, shouldn't just stare at you, should i?

The meeting is more than a month away, which is more than enough time for our economy to follow its american neighbour counterpart (yay! recession! )

Afro, seeing as how the Ohio thing sort of died (though I'm thinking of having one this summer in Cedar Point), if I paid my way in gas, think you could pick me up?

Sounds like a good possibility that a good showing will be there.

As of a certain time frame ago, you now need a passport to travel in and out of Canada. Not to hard to acquire one I believe.

Well now you have over a month to plan this out.

Alright guys so how do we do this?

Here's my suggestion: I could reserve a place at a nearby restaurant ( there's a Nickels and a St-Hubert ( sorta like a Swiss Chalet for those of you who don't know ) nearby where we could go.
There's also a cool indian buffet somewhere else in town that is pretty kickass and had infinie room to seat people. But we'd have to take the subway.

Then afterwards, one of my roomies works at a nearby bar and says he might be able to book us the VIP lounge. SCHWING. We could hang there for a while.

There's also a nearby Hotel, it sort of looks crappy but would be probably big and cheap enough that we could rent out a couple rooms, maybe? That way some people could sleep there and some people could crash at my place if they want since it's in walking distance.

There's also lots of places to get alcohol nearby, but they stop selling it at like 11pm or something. There is also a McDonald's sorta within walking distance for those who are Burgin

So that's is for that FOH NOW

Do you live on the island? If so, where? I don't need a complete adress, just a quick reference to know if I'll be able to travel back to my place easily or not on that night (not that I'll want to anyway, just checking in case).

Just out of curiosity, when does La Ronde open for the year? I'm assuming not Easter. But just for future reference.

I still say nothing can top the Glasgow Meetup.

Which hotel is it? Do you know what the price range is?

Is there an SAQ around there? I only know the one near Snowdon on Decarie Boul.

Some time in May. You should try the Goliath, it's awesome. It's also Ramcees' (sniper) FAVORITE ride.

Obviously, you don't know what happens at Montreal meetups. And wasn't there only 2 ppl at the Glasgow meet-up, namely you and SCD?

That's really my motivation for going there. Although I do need to get rides in on Vampire and Cobra.

Yeah, and I got my nipple pierced the day before.

Nah I'm kidding, the first one, if you could even call that a meetup, was me and SCD going on a pub crawl.

For the second one a few of us were there; Fyndir, DingoTheDog, ZeroAsALimit, Ben, SCD and Me.

It was a good laugh, but the Montreal one does sound promising. I heard a legend that you lot eat your chips 'n cheese with gravy on it, is that true?

Spare me.

The Vampire is good, but oh god, the Cobra is painful for your crotch. You won't be able to walk after. It's not worth it.

True - Quebec's dish. Here's a great picture showing how much Luis LOVES poutine.
