I think you all are losing too much sleep thinking about how to create a makeshift arcade for the meetup. I think someone should just bring one system or whatever and we'll deal with that. For real. As a poor student, I don't get the chance to just skip off to another city very often. I picture any video gaming to be the sort of after-party, when 50% of the folks have passed out/gone back to hotel/whatever, and the other 50% are like, uhhhh, so now what?

I agree with the people above. We're in Montreal....so we're PROBABLY going to be at bars most of the night. We'll figure out something during the day.

Well, not everyone will be up by Thursday night. Friday and Saturday are the main drinking nights....up to you which one (or both) to get shitfaced on. Just remember that the VIP lounge thing is on Saturday.

I'm not very good at video games so if we do or do not, it doesn't matter to me, although if that's going to be the main attraction, I'll stay home and connect via xbox live, or just go shopping, FBi will come with me.

I'm all for exploring the city during the day. if you fags want to play video games, there's probably an equal number who don't so we can just have some folks play games and the rest can explore the city, if they've traveled a ways and want to see some cool stuff (like me) then meet back up and go bar hopping at dinner time or whatnot

if anyone is bringing video games / console it'd be a good idea to make sure other people arent bringing theirs.. would suck for 5 people to show up with wii's and realize they had no reason to haul it over.

Oh and from experience from the London meet last month.. bear in mind that your are bringing your system in contact of what will probably be many drunk strangers! Someone spilled some drink over someones ipod in london.. it still worked the next day but accidents can and DO happen... so keep that in mind when you pack your 600 dollar ps3 or whatever
