Pretty sure the whole thing is gonna be for 18+ only...

In other news, just nought a PSP with a pre-cracked LCD screen. How fun is that?

Pretty fun, I'd say. My friend had a similar issue. The D in D-Pad stood for disappeared when he bought his.

Don't worry, we'll be in a hotel mostly.. maybe... perhaps!
And one of my friends will probably book a VIP room at a bar. Neato.

Don't worry, to all those who can't finish their Poutine I'll eat it for you.

Shotgun all those poutines.

Stellar! Thanks a bunch dude, we both really appreciate it. We're used to cramped sleeping spaces so don't worry about us taking up a lot of square footage. :)

I'm with you man. I'm pretty leery of this poutine business myself.
But it doesn't seem like we have a choice man.
Sniper already insinuated bodily harm if you don't get with the chewin' and swallowin' of said dish.

Also apparently it's a tradition to impose French food on visiting Americans.

Poor Luis.

FYI, poutine is awesome. Dunno where all the apprehension comes from.

French fries = yum.
Gravy = yum.
Cheese = yum.

So it's like yum cubed here. Unless the Montreal versions involve boiled vegetables topped with cockroaches or something...

Kinda sad too.

Well since you put it like that. It doesn't sound half bad.
Though gravy and cheese 2gether doesn't sound right.
I guess it's just the unfamiliar name. I'm not even sure how to pronounce it.

Anybody wanna take a stab at the phonetic spelling?

How come poutine seems to be such a crazy invention? It's not exactly a strange dish. Plus don't you americans eat fries with every meal, during thanksgiving doesn't some gravy spill over?

I hardly eat fries unless I choose to buy some fastfood. But even then I usually throw them away.
I tend to eat hispanic foods most of the time.

Poo-Tin
(Poo as in Pooh Bear and Tin as in tin can, but emphasize the N at the end).

That's as close as I can get.

That's because I tried to make it sound like the real French saying, rather than the English one. Anglophones say "een" while Francophones say "in".

As for me, i take my poutine with italian sausages and chicken wings...mmm...

But , do anyone here really know where the poutine was created???
I believe the poutine was created by Le Roi Juicep here in Drummondville.
Despite of critics, i believe harder than ever.
Not Victoriaville,
Not Wicham,
Not Princeville,
DRUMMONDVILLE ROCK!!!!!

Together, we can do that we can't do alone. Nous vaincrons, ensemble, pour la gloire du QUÉBEC LIBRE!!!

I see now. Thanks guys.

But I have to say that whether its teen or tin it sure does sound a alarmingly like poo as in poop.lol

Well either way I'm going to try it along with Afro_Ninja and I'm sure it will be scrumptious. I mean like zerok said it's pretty hard to screw up freedom fries+CHEESE!!!+gravy. Sounds like a winner to me.

Maybe I'll get these Cubans down here in Miami hooked on it.

I'll make a million bucks!

Incredible that americans are not eating that junk food. It's so unhealthy, I can't believe it's not more popular over there.

New York Fries makes a really good poutine when they remember to heat up the cheese curds. But now that I think about, I've never seen a New york Fries outside of canada.

I use poo-teen and poo-tin interchangeably.

FBI: sorry man, I've stopped using AIM. I'll graciously accept any space you can offer me though, really relatively few details'll need to be worked out that I can see, but if you need to know anything about me I guess a PM'll suffice.

And what the hell: chalk me up for a confirmation. Since passport's apparently unimportant and Montreal's pretty much a day trip drive for me, there's no conceivable excuse for me to miss it.

I want some form of e-collateral for this, so I have something to comfort me when you give us all Evan-blue-balls.
