This computer is stronger than both of your current computers combined, and 150 dollars cheaper. Name brand can suck it.
Don't know about the graphics card though, but if you're using a computer that old and only in ms paint it should be a problem.
I have one, I love mine to death, you can pretty much run anything painting related on one of those with no problem.

Graphics cards basically take over the rendering job for the processor leaving the processor free to take on other tasks. So as long as the card is got better stats than the onboard graphics, then you'll see a bit of a boost of speed. Also graphics cards can give you much more control over your monitor including everything from multiple screens (if supported) to color depth and out put.
I see, so I was wrong. Good thing I have both a good processor and graphics card then.

I used to have a really good graphics card which made up for my shitty processor, but when my motherboard tanked last year, it took my graphics card with it
You typically don't want to overclock your processor, let alone on something that you'd be doing regularly
When can we expect M&A Fridays to start taking place? I hope that wasn't a joke.

Lulz in the Marvel universe, pretty smooth, very entertaining.
Hey guys. I haven't been here for a while. I think I might have left behind some obligations here, for that I apologize. I really am. I got accepted into that university I wanted to go to and decided to take arts as my major. (bad idea?) I pretty much been hung up on real life these past few days or months.
So yeah hey guys. Here's a drawing to me coming back. (I'm still tabletless btw) I guess I'm still stuck drawing with a bar of soap.

I looked at the quotes he posted and it kinda looked like he was talking to himself saying lack of skill.
I could be mistaking though.
lawl he's mocking MadCow.
TBH, I wouldn't mind MadCow's critiques if he didn't keep trying to push artists to change their style. Critiques should be based on what the image is, not what you want it to be. Again: quality over content.

MadCow calls everything "gay 2/10"
I'm surprised nobody else has noticed it yet.
So Neil Gaiman did the commencement adress at the University of the Arts this year. It's definitely worth giving a watch, or at least a listen.
.
I think Madcow shouldn't be given any attention from anyone at this forum, as doing so will only add fuel to the fire. He uses words as his weapon, but in reality he doesn't actually inflict any actual damage to anybody. He will move on soon enough once he gets bored.

Next time anyone ever complains about a certain medium not being good for a particular thing, call upon this guy.
The shit he does with wood is nuts. Just goes to show you what patience and skill can really get done.

So, I don't know how many of you guys are heat fanatics, but I finally tried Ghost Chili, that stuff is delicious.
For anyone interested in time lapses, this drawing I made might be fun to watch being created.
