Back to the "when i was a kid" thing...
When i was about 3 or 4 i wanted to be a archeologist because from what i thought, being a archeologist meant you were the guy from Turok.
But then i found out the truth
So i went back to my original dream before i went bat shit crazy on loving dinosaurs, being a cartoonist. I loved cartoons and never had cable or dish so i got cartoons once a week on Saturdays. So i grew a massive interest in them being limited to something i loved so much i made my own on ms paint. And then one day i saw a Gundam VCR tape at Blockbuster Video. I rented it and never took it back, i watched those 3 episodes of Gundam over and over. (this was the time frame in America when it was really rare to find anime chilling on a store shelf) I was in love with this exotic, well drawn, Japanese animation that my eyes were no longer virgin to.
So i became interested in making Anime, or as i called it (Japanese cartoons)
And then came me misunderstanding the word "pilot" once again, from what i knew the word pilot meant you fly a giant japanese robot around and slay motherfuckers.
We still have a video from when i guy came into our 3rd grade class and asked what we wanted to be when we grow up and i seriously said "a Gundam"
But the i found out the truth.
I was fucking heart broken that there were no giant robots to pilot so i went wanted to make cartoons again.
Fastforward to 7th grade.
At this point i was stuck between making Anime and Publishing comics for Darkhorse.
But then something changed everything, my friend Aaron came to school, gathered all of us in a circle and said "Im making a video game."
I was shaken, "you can make video games!?"
I jumped on board with him and started working with MMO game engines and pixel art.
In short time i noticed how gay anime was and decided i wanted to make videogames.
And here i am now.
