I'm calling bullshit, too, because it gave me a 119 and I have a hard time believing my IQ actually went down about 20 points since I took a real IQ test several years back.

Where do you go to take an accurate IQ test? Like, a MENSA building?

Definitely not the internet.

From what I've seen on Google, you can take it at schools or go to a psychologist.

Hell, just google MENSA.

I have nothing to say that is at all relevant.

At the page where you selected your programs, you pressed "Send Serials" and you got the email, yes?
Try putting/not putting the "-"'s (hyphens).

Idk how those serial code generators work, but someone might have stolen your SN.

LK @ HW SMRT AM I

Nope.

Anyway, I managed to complete my previous IQ test at a psychologist, and while this free IQ test isn't terrible (it does maintain questions from all basic areas of the human mind map) it definitely wouldn't hold water to a real one.

However, I do find that this IQ Test is pretty much on the mark.

Still just an internet test that can't handle long response, but I do like that it handles the matter professionally and manages to assign a pretty accurate score.

Any one know where I can find some good forums on creating comics/graphic novels? I'm looking some up myself but I would also like to get some input from you guys as well.
Any books I would also take a look at.

The only useful thing I can provide is about the writing part for comics.

For books I'd recommend Making Comics by Scott McCloud. It's got some interesting stuff in it.

guys, I have a anatomical question.

Been drawing out people lately, and im trying to figure out if the shin and ankle (everything below the knee discluding the feet, is the same size as the calf and everything else above the knee legwise.

some pictures of irl people have it the same, others it's different, in the different ones it seems like the bottom half + the feet is the same size as the top half of the leg, but im not sure.

anyone truly know?

I'm no expert, but it depends on the person and the style of drawing. Typically, although they aren't truly the same length, the thigh and shin usually appear to be of similar length and are depicted as such.

If you want to make things harder for yourself, though, I'm rather sure the upper leg is slightly longer than the lower leg.

Femur is long.

I have nothing to say that is at all relevant.

Well... Everyone is built differently. But generally, the ankles and the lower tibia/fibula is skinnier than the patella (kneecap) and the calves.
Take a look at athletic people, like soccer players and tennis players to get a good idea of athletic build.
Look at models for the average (or ideal, whatever) look. Etc, etc.
Look at professional body builders to see the... ummm.... extreme.
But fat people tend to have "cankles". There are calf-ankles. And that is when the ankles and the lower tibia/fibula is the same thickness as the calf, or tapers to look like an upside down cone. A "normal" leg tends to have a pretty definitive curve at the end of the calf muscle.

I've been doodling and sketching a little more seriously lately, and I look back to the first page of my art thread and wonder if I've grown enough to abandon that thread.

Have I? Personally my art looks the same if not worse than before, what do you think?

I think no. Although if you're disappointed with your thread and want a fresh start, by all means go ahead. But I'd say to leave as-is and continue its exponential growth.

Do have to say, though, that your post makes no sense. You either believe that you've outgrown the thread, or that you haven't. I mean, whut.

I'm just kinda blown by the girth, it's really just a lot to go through. When I look at someone's thread I kinda go cross-eyed if it goes over 5 pages but I also don't think everyone bothers looking at all pages of any particular artist unless you're really taken by it. I dunno, just something I thought of on a whim.

The IQ test Felis posted pegged me at 135, the one Lintire posted had me at 140.
Seems pretty decent that they both gave me close to the same score...

Sweet Sixteenth (or 20th, but that sounded way cooler) to our resident law-studentable cartoony persony thing, Aigis. Congratulations on surviving for this long, man!

Now you get to look forward to 60 or so more years of existence before you die. Have fun!

You bitch! I am not happy now.

Happy supposed birthday to Aigis then. I'm hesitant to wish anyone a happy birthday anymore.

Happy belated Aigis, and whoever else I might have forgotten in history.

Starting today, Chrome's been picking up malware on this site.

I'm guessing it's detecting it in some ads, because it's saying that a gasymedia or something has been something'd and that that site has a history of distributing malware.

It's been kind of annoying.

There's been threads about that all over general - basically, don't worry about it, it's that stupid Google's fault for putting faulty ads on NG. Basically, there's absolutely nothing wrong, but avoid clicking on the ads for now.

From what I hear, the admins are busy putting Google back in their place as of now.

I had to laugh, gasymedia is a great name.

I've heard bad stuff about them before though. But I don't remember the specifics.
