There's actually a part in the movie where a few security guards discuss the concept of a mexican gardener.

Hmm, I think I may have written this movie, but someone stole it from my mind in a dream.

Pretty cool interview.
As for a next interviewee, I have no clue. Good luck!

Good interview with Dahlia. I love his work.
As for suggestions, what about J-qb? It might just be my personal taste, but he's got a great sense of art and imagination and his art covers some bases (the abstract, namely) that you haven't covered much in your interviews.
Smiling Idiot is a master when it comes to female characters, you could try and get him.
Jessepants is a great "indie" style artist who also covers more abstract work, you could try and get him.
Oh, and by the way, I looked through the archives of your blog. That threadless shirt with the panda? I own that shirt. It's one of my favorites, and it gets tons of comments from people.

Agreed; there were some spelling errors though; I dont want to be a bitch but these things just distract me, and I can only guess they distract other poeple too...
also: burma is called Myanmar now....

awh, you are too kind.
@Gman thanks, I'm glad you liked it.
@Lux those are some great suggestions, I'll send messages out but firsts, Qb do you want to be interviewed for the 20th.
@QB I'm glad you liked it and about the errors, I like to keep things as the artists tell them because for some reason you get to know who they are as a person (yes, grammar helps me understand people)
I hope you are all looking forward to the next interview with Ornery...

Woah, I think we're on the same brain-length here, cause I was actually just about to suggest Qbles.

So it in fact a movie, then? It's funny, because although it was an original joke trailer, I would have said that it would have made a better movie then the one that it was starring as a trailer in. I have to see it, miniguns on motorcycles are too awesome to miss.

It's a shame that Dahlia doesn't actually sell his work, that's the sort of thing that I would pin up on my wall - and it was a nice interview, I enjoyed reading it and learning more about the artist. Mind you, I just like that sort of thing.
I'm with the others in suggesting the Cubemiester - great artist, and more NG represent :3

Anything by The Aquabats.
"Make art, not war." - Shepard Fairey
These are all pretty decent.
Hoodie Allen
Ben Folds
Frank Sinatra
Here's a solid remixof my favourite TF2 song, Rocket Jump Waltz.
I have different taste in music than most, but I can give some things that I love. I don't know what most might think of this stuff.
Some generally cool stuff:
The Dear Hunter (Genius stuff; all the albums collectively tell a story. It's a really long rock opera and it's really interesting and very well made. This is easily my favorite band.)
Ratatat
Menomena
The Wombats
If you like Pretty music, try:
Owen Pallett (he used to go by the name Final Fantasy.)
Lymbyc Systym
Beirut
Arcade Fire
Weird stuff (all amazing):
The Unicorns (These guys are a bit of an acquired taste, but fuck, I love them.)
Tally Hall
Islands (only their first album, though, which is wonderful. The other two are disappointing at best.)
Just some little bits of my musical taste that some people might be interested in, I guess. Then again, people might hate this stuff. Who knows?
You could also check out Razia's Shadow by Forgive Durden, which is my favorite single album. I won't give you a link because you might in turn see the god awful music video for "Life is Looking Up."
I also really like lupe fiasco. His first and second albums tell a story about a character he made up, and it sounds a little quirky, but it ends up being pretty cool in the end.
Is it just me or is the art forum dead right now?
Here's some of my faves, some are from lesser known artists and some are from known artists.
"Maybe" by The Inkspots, I'm one of the many that fell victim to The Inkspots from Fallout 1.
"9 Crimes" by Damien Rice, a very serious and wonderful song that never gets old.
"Slam" by Pendulum, one of my faves of their old stuff.
I have lots more to add but I think I'll stop there...

Yeah I noticed that. I wonder why.
Welp, I probably wont be online much tomorrow.
I'm moving into my house for school. Got a truck coming in the morning, and then we're heading off. Looking forward to being in a house after the last 2 years in residence. Should be a good experience.

Could the next person that does this include the name of the artist and song and not just put the hmtl to the videos... It would make me and perhaps others more inclined to click on the links.
When it comes to inspiration for art, musics always been a big part of it -so far going as it actually influences the quality of my work. For that reason, I usually use slow, calming or at the very least melancholy tracks - gives me that little boost to my work ethic, which is sorely in need.
One of my favourites has to be Return to Slumber from the Demon Soul's OST - a great song with some vocals, but not too much. Another one, recently discovered, would have to be Track Rain from the Halo OSDT OST - again great calming song with a little melancholy, but this time no vocals, which is perfect.
However, I usually find myself listening to a rain ambiance song - such as "Sounds of Rain and Thunder on a River" - I've always found rain relaxing, and it's hard to care about getting a piece done, when there's no worry or rush in the song - it really does make a huge difference to how long I spend on a piece at any one time.
Anyway, that's just me. All links are to Youtube, though I've received (bought or dled through Youtube in the case of the rain ambiance) all the tracks at one point or another.
Going by my most played on my I-Pod,
Fatboy Slim - Love Island
RJD2 - Ghost Writer
Bloc Party - Flux
Massive Attack - Inertia Creeps
Lemon Jelly - Nice Weather for Ducks
And I've moved into my new house in London (Ontario) for school, wewt wewt.

I go to UWO (University of Western Ontario).
I lived in residence the first two years, but I decided that it was time to move out for third. I have a house with some friends of mine, so it should be pretty awesome.
I live about a 15 minute walk from campus and a 15 minute walk from the mall, so it's perfect location.
So first day of school today and I needed to fix my schedule, I had a free block.
And something that seniors get to do is intern, usually this means just walking around and basically being a mailman for an hour, in the art department, this is not the case.
I am more or less an assistant teacher for a photography class
Problems with this, I am not a teacher, I am not the teacher type, and I know nothing about photography.
Luckily I've had this teacher in the past and thinks I am totally capable of not only doing the work but helping people out with it.
And once this semester's over I'll do the same hopefully in a different art class.
I am excite
