Someone with some actual knowledge on the subject... someone with some actual submissions... someone that people know and respect... someone that's actually active in that forum for the right reasons... etc. etc.

In the art forum, a lounge makes sense because of the start pic rule and the number of 'regs'. The animation forum doesn't have the rules, the regs, or the need for a lounge (at this time). If things should change... and one becomes necessary... then yes, some elite animator (preferably a mod) should make it.

If ANYONE wants to create activity threads, by all means, go for it... but that require you to actually animate (props to gumby, vero and wivern for the bounce thread). Being an 'art reg' doesn't give you license to go to any of the other forums and start throwing your imaginary weight around. You have to earn the status of 'reg' there too :P

You could do something interesting and fun
or celebrities farting on each other

That would be a interesting suggestion to start off for the animation forum to say the least, I don't think a person would be able to catch any sort of diseases from Pamela Anderson's ass gases.

Anyway, guys, as a question, my other computer recently crashed and I've been forced to use this piece of junk. Problem is that theres art, plenty of art (everything from an entry to the Madness to some free work for baronvonbadguy) that needs doing and I'm not really able to do it. Thing is, even if I connect up the tablet to this computer, I don't exactly have Photoshop.

Question is, should I go out and get Photoshop again, resetup all my programs and crap, then re-continue work or risk it and wait until my other computer gets fixed? I'm kinda debating this with myself, not really getting any answers.

Gimp is pretty good.
Personnally, I use Photofiltre, if someone knows.

Depends how long you think your computer is gonna be out of commission. If you think it wont be that long, then just wait it out and maybe just sketch out ideas with pencil/paper or with your tablet on like gimp or something.

Well, I don't think that it's going to be back in the business anytime soon, and I do have a mountain of art that needs finishing, so I just went ahead and grabbed myself a copy of Photoshop CS2 from the deepest recesses of my filing system (random boxes) and re-installed all the crap I need on this computer.

Back in the game, so to speak, though I doubt I'll get a quarter of my sketched-out ideas to finishing point <.<

I originally didn't get a very warm reception in this forum so I've kinda been avoiding it - but I've decided to take a hiatus from music making generally until that new redesign comes rollnig around - so I decided to make more art.
