Jonny Hit 6k Awesome.
Anyway that article really made me lol.
it truly shows how easily some can be stiffed. It also makes me glad that I learned my lesson from the one job I took on faith, and that I had David Stipes as a teacher to beat in to my head about contracts and lessons about freelance.
I guess it goes to show that even beginner artist should learn how to handle freelance and commission work

Lol. I was going to post that if you hadn't. I think you should read this guy's rebuttal.
.
Jon really summed the whole issue up in the best way possible, so kudos to him!
And on the subject of Webcomics, I like me some Johnny Wander, Brawl in the Family, Freak Angels and This is Serious.

That was a awesome rebuttal. I loved it.
Also.... is it sad that I have this as a preset on my photoshop....
is it worse that the image was made with that preset :P
No, I don't think it's a bad thing, I should probably do it too. (I do have a folder just for NG sized stuff only too) Before I had just been using a PSD that I add new art to and re-save under different names.

Funny Thing is, I tend to forget to use it most of the time and just input the numbers manually.

I think it might be a worse sign that you remember the numbers.

Yeah man, 18 in Canada is lottery tickets and porn.
2 of my friends share the same birthday, so when they turned 18 last year, they went out and both some of each (note one of them is a girl).

What girls don't buy porn?

and both some of each? what does that mean!?
Anyway please avert your attention from Mike as I believe he has had his fair share of attention for the year now and watch and review this rilly brilliant, penis-free, collab that was made for Peixeaquatico :D

Sorry "they went out and BOUGHT some of each".
It's 3 in the morning and I'm about to pass out.

Quick!... get the perma markers!... WHAT!?... we dont have any!?... what do we have?.... oohh.... OOOHHH
I actually have two ng presets; one is double sized. I like working double size for bigger project and use the reg size for quick stuff. I have one folder for all my drawings (1,25 gb) and another one for doubles stuff and collabs and shit.
So, I haven't been around lately, but I was wondering how many of you have heard about TinyChat? I know we've used stickam before, but this is pretty nice and simple, you don't even have to have an account to use it or make a room.

I guess we should add MS Excel to our list of art programs.

Steve could you please load the monthly status reports. As you can see here we have a 10% increase in... WHO THE FUCK LET ROB WORK OVERTIME.

I couldn't decide whether to lull at the creativity or... well..
I suppose any program can be used for artistic purposes, when you think about it. Just because it isn't really designed for those purposes, doesn't mean it can;t be used for them.
Like, y'know, MMOs and cybersex.
i wish i has excel... then i could use it instead of ms paint :P
lol joking, ms paint always has a place in my heart :D...
untill i get flash back >:3
but yeah... some one has WAY to much time on their hands to be doing art like that :P

My buddy once tried to duct tape my feet when I was falling/fell asleep one time. I woke up and kicked him in the head.

Fuck yeah, Gundam!
This is why I'm unsure about art schools. If I were to take a course that included similar feats of....self-expression, I'd feel horribly betrayed.
There's also an interesting discussion going on at conceptart.org about the.....performance.
with the exception of page 4....Kinsei, is that you drunk posting?
On another note, we desperately need new terms to describe self-expression. Art doesn't cut it, because it throws the aforementioned video, anime and Da Vinci's work into one pool

Wait, that was art? I think it was a home movie of retarded monkeys at the zoo...
