John K of Ren & Stimpy and a shitload of other things fame, is asking for drawings and media of his characters so that he can scan it into a book he is putting together, its rare that John K asks for art, but it might cool if someone from our community makes it into that Spumco book.

I think that's very cool, I'm sure that there will be some interest around here for that. Nice find.

Personally I never really cared for Ren and Stimpy or anything Spumco, I pretended I did for a time to be on par with my friends and peers, but I never found the 'toons all that compelling. =[

Still John K is a legend to most animators and artist, I'd be interested in seeing what people come up with.

Since we are on the subject of cartoons...did anyone catch any episodes of Adventure Time yet?

ever have one of those days where nothing seems to go right?
To start, I only get 2 hours of sleep, but in all honestly thats only 3 or 4 hours short of normal so I'm ok with it.
So since I cannot get back to sleep I figure, what the hell I've only spent 80 hours on NG in the past 4 days, lets push for a even hundred. So I climb out of my bed, and come in to the living room and turn on the computer, as the hunk of crap is warming up I decide to go drain the tank. At least that much goes right at 4 in the morning. So As I come out of the wash closet, I notice that my computer isn't up and running but instead restarting its self, again nothing new so I sigh and come in grab a pair of pants laying on the floor and have a seat.
This is when the shit starts rolling down hill.
Turns out my computer is feeling suicidal, and I'm about to help it on its way back to its maker. The OS has some how corrupted. Lovely start to the day yet, and it's not even 5 am, the damn sun has even begun to rise.
SO I go start plugging away trying to get the thing to revive enough to at least pick up some stuff from my desktop and hopefully my internet favorites. But alas no, I've never been that lucky so why should today be any different, right?
So I get this thing to reformatting and reinstalling that I seemed to have to make it do a dozen times because the computer kept blue screening as I was working. finally around 6:30 I have the OS reinstalled, and booting up, but it's going to take about a half our to for the "First Start Up" thing. So I figure I got a little bit hows about I take out the garbage, got nothing better to do right?
SO I sack up my loose soda cans and put on a shirt and my boots and step out the door only to be greeted with the lovely site of the Glendale and Phoenix S.W.A.T. teams throughout the apartment complex. I'm still not sure what they were doing here other than some one got busted.
See didn't I tell you I was having a great day?
after that my new install of my OS corrupts, and I have to jump threw hoops for hours again to get it to reinstall, and once I get it back online, i try to reinstall Adobe CS3 only to have the system tell me it cannot install any of it. So I restart to find on the boot up that THE DAMN THING CORRUPTED AGAIN!!!!!!
so here I am once again doing the same thing...... again..... and again...... and again.....

I think I have just about lost it :D

lets hope it keeps running for longer than 10 minuets, right?
