any who The other day while attending Bookmans, One came across a comic, a trade back to be more specific . observing the comic, and art, it came to be that a purchase was needed. The art was good, and the name of a favorite artist graced the cover, but the story seemed to be both within, and outside the realm of typical taste that one such as myself usually reads.
Turning the reading and the analyzing of the art, a single piece reached out and snagged the readers eye. The first thought was "What is Kratos doing in a book about knights and vampires." A Chuckel was risen from the chest at the notion,

Taking to the computer, research was conducted.
Although the two, are indeed different, the similarities are uncanny.
So, Asking the community, at just looking at the art, and not knowing much else, would you say that a design was stolen? And also an inquire of which one you all think came first ?

basically do you guys think one design is "Influenced" by the other and which one came first.

Its definitely possible.Although to be honest one might think both characters are pretty boring.Just muscled bald men .So if everone decided to draw muscled bald men they all look pretty similar if ye get what eye mean.

Well, that is a matter of when the comic was made. If it was made before 2005, it is not stolen, if it was made after 2005, then it stole the character from god of war.

it may just be one of those coincidental likenesses, or using the stereotypical muscley bald guy with chains, theyre similiar but also quite different, its like you could argue that splinter cell and metal gears main characters are rip offs, whichever one came first, they both look the same because theres only so much you can do within that small criteria
