Yeah, I always try to have 4 or 5 things I'm working on at a time, so if I run out of ideas, I can pull up another track and do somthing different. But if your stuck your stuck, if you try to force it - its going to blow.
Just dont open your software or think about music for a few days.

With a few exceptions (Tangerine Dreams coughcough) I tend to get sick of my songs.
That's when you do new stuff and finish the old shit later. :D

Being uncomfortable as a musician is what it's all about. Anyone who is completely comfortable with all of their work is probably not growing or providing something new. Boredom and anxiety are the cornerstones of fresh music.

I love my beats. That's why I still make beats. Just sell your beats and you'll love it even more. Thats what I do. There are various ways to do that. But all aside I think messing around with melodies there are millions of them out there. You just gotta put yourself out there.

A good thing i find to do is, whenever you get ANY kind of idea, slap together a quick project so that its saved and you can come back to it whenever, and then when you get bored of the project your working on, go through all of your projects looking at all these little things you've kept and just work on them, and alot of the time you'll find you've got loads of new ideas for them and you end up doing a whole new project and developing it into something proper then get bored and go and finish off your last one and thus the cycle continues.

I mostly end up deleting most of the instruments and submitting an unfinished song due to annoyance, the bad thing is people seem to notice its unfinished all to well. Anyone else find themselves doing this sort of stuff?
Thats why it's good to get feedback, low scores aren't the end of the world, and you can always go back and remake them and then deleate the old one.

its easier to go into fantasy if you start in reality, make things familiar then twist em

No not really. I generally find chords I like to here and make them sound really nice. Than I find a lead sound and generally begin to improv in my head... i usually make really good tracks from that alone. Most of my R&B tracks could be in general listened too without drums at all but for the hell of it and the sake of a complete song I add some drums. Although percussion on my tracks are never nearly as fun as the melodies are. Hell I actually always have outdone myself for awhile now. I make a masterpiece take a break come back and seem to outdo myself one way or another. So generally I can listen to my songs for hours on end and never tire of them. But it makes it hard to produce the next song unless I completely forget my others. You just have to be a patient person to be able to successfully create. You sound very impatient and as if your music doesn't really come from inside and is based on outside influences like YouTube. If it's not from the inside flowing smoothly than what's the point. Your not creating music your just "making" it. I don't know dude. I never tire of my songs. I find things I like even in my Oldest and Worst beats from back on MTV Music Generator. There's something I like hearing in there. Maybe I just like listening to the same song over and over. I don't know.

i get what your saying listening to the same stuff over and over again isnt the greatest thing in the world you can be your own worst critic insted of deleting the song or deleting parts put the song on the back burner for a week or so maybe longer i just resently went thru my digital recorder of unfinished stuff and wrote new lyrics changed some stuff and things are looking much better for the songs than they once did but tossing unfinished songs up for the sake of doing it just sux do it for your self not any one else and you will be suprised
