After optimising all my drawings I realised the drastic changes. It made the file size almsost a third smaller and made the lines look much smoother and easier on the eye. So OPTIMISE EVERYTING.

I'll explain what it is here:
It's simply smoothing lines out by removing jagged edges etc. So to do this, highlight all paint brush and fill work, Modify > Shape > Optimise.
Slide the bar about a third of the way up, this way it cleans it up without changing the previous image much at all.

Do it. Now, looks better, lowers file size.

And I'm sorry to say Goat-Man, matey, but you did a lot of this for nothing. <_< But we still gonna use the light effect on the letters so. ^_^ (And cuz of this you are CO-author for sure now xD)

Alright, i'll give it a try. I've done it before to make it look neater, but i never knew it lowered file size. Cool!

Oh, it just happenms when I export it. It's not out of sunc in the fla.-file. So I can't do anything. When Bertn is exporting the full collab, it's not out of sync.

Yes, i already have 4 characters done, and i have a general idea, but i just don't feel like posting it yet...
I'm thinking of posting the characters (there are 5 of them) when the 5th one is done.

As for now, i'll go and finish my pirate ship! It's gonna be pretty big, and i'm probably going to need a camera... If Bertn doesn't mind, though!

Okay, i have to go pretty fast now, but i'll update you a few hours later!

why use the brush tool? haven't used that in years!

Because when the pencil tool is used in a bad way, it looks horrible. I'm not sure, maybe it's the animation. Try and draw Chibi pirates or something, they're easier and look better.

Go for something funny too? Random endings = not funny.
