When I've watched the movie before or know its going to happen, I usually just take my time and go to the kitchen and get some food or something to drink. I don't watch movies with my family any more, but I remember always doing that.

I remember seeing Ghost Ship with I was about 11 or 12 at my aunts house with my cousins. The nude scene wasn't more then 5 seconds, but my aunt jumped in front of the tv and did a dance to distract us from the boobies.
It was really awkward.

My mom and me were watching TV in her new apartment with the new channels and all and got stuck on a quite interesting film. After watching about 10 minutes we understood that it was a porno, the evidence being the sex-scene... that was far too long and showed far too much to be just another sex scene in a movie... I got it first, my mom took another minute or so to react...
I've never been so embarrased in my entire life...
I watched Harald and Kumar 2 with my dad, but I didn't find it awkward at all.

Lol, one time my dad rented "Rainman"(epic movie btw) and we got to the sex scene with Charlie and his girlfriend. You couldn't see anything, of course, but there were moans and stuff and I asked my dad what they were.(akward)
Also, total recall was a pretty akward one too.
