well, my good sir, i'm in the process of getting enough prints and shirts together and photographed so i feel adequate enough to create account on this free shopping site thingy.

I'll be selling prints and t-shirts, shirts will probably be around $15, prints will range from $5-$50 depending on the size of the print

Both of these stencils are pretty small just like the other one, all three are about the size of your hand

just realized i never posted a picture of this print. I did it as a follow up on the anatomically correct stencil, i drew this one myself and used the other stencil as a reference

Ben! I'm volunteering at AIR on the north side. I know you know what I'm talking about because I saw a transparency of your honest abe drawing there when i went in to talk to the guys there. I told the guy showing me around I know you from the internet. He seem confused. Come to AIR some night I'm volunteering and we'll bro down!

ha ha awesome! do you volunteer on teen studio night? I don't remember when that is, is it wednesday nights? Yeah i was there with my school that's what the transparency was there for, they would be confused, i haven't gone to AIR since freshmen year, since i have a place to print that doesn't cost money.

I'll definately try and stop by, i'll get some transparencys made so we can throw down some art

no the abe lincoln was from a couple weeks ago, i meant show up on high school night and print and all that, i haven't done that since freshmen year, so they don't really know me at all there.

I think i'm going to a play this wednesday, but maybe next week i'll roll on over

will do. right now im fingerpainting the why so serious dark knight poster for anatomy. we're doing aids awareness posters using pop culture refrences. fun stuff... i just slipped and smeared the hands... time to start over! ill post it as soon as i have it resketched. i need advice...

i'll give you advise! You have no idea how happy i am to hear someone is fingerpainting, i've wanted to do a painting with fingerpaints for awhile

I really like this one - the slightly stretched perspective on the far side og the face creates a nice effect..

its ridiculous. i think i picked the perfect model for it though... an anarchy picture about anarchy. my fingers are huge though... vienna sausage, size 14 fingers make for a messy drawing. when i rework the sketch, though, ill post it.

should start a finger painting thread...

found a picture of my first stencil

i've been sorting through the pictures on my old computer, and i found another picture of a dirt old stencil

aaah yeah who likes shitty camera phone pictures raise yo hands up!

my submission for the teddy soldier competition, almost finished, need to touch up his fuzz in a few places, paint the fuzz light blue, and clean off his hands

I just ordered 500 postal stickers, oh the shenanigans to be had!

sweet munny dude (i hope thats what u call em haha). I was browsing through your thing and i liked the first t-shirt design you made. So you used silk screening or something like that? How did you go about making it the way you did

not sure how far back you were looking, but if you mean the very first shirt design in this whole thread, than that was the dress shirt i made for my dad and that was just painted on with acrylics. If you meant the shirt with Handpuppet on it, then that was done with spray paint and silkscreening, i used spray paint to do the gradient behind it, and i silkscreened Handpuppet onto the shirt. If you're referring to the past two shirts i've posted, both of those were done with stencils and spray paint, and i hand dyed the shirts.

i'm fairly certain there's a mouse living amongst the clutter underneath my bed...

I don't know a lot about stencils. But I like this one, the colours of the other pieces compliment your part nicely.

thanks, ha ha i think it's a pretty trash stencil but i was proud of it at the time. it's part of a really big painting me and my friend did, we git a huge piece of duckcloth and painted on it all night, we started around 11 and finished around 4 in the morning, fueled solely on Amp and pop-tarts, it was so much fun, i recommend it to anyone who wants to do something arty and fun with their friends

after checking i do have a picture of most of the canvas. I'll try and point out some highlights:

-The canvas was all spraypainted silver but we realized we couldn't spray on top of it so everything got painted green

-The ghost was turned into ghost pimp halfway through the night, and right under him is bulby, his sidekick the black lightbulb.

-We painted a bullseye and were sucking paint into straws then trying to shoot it at the canvas, we kept score throughout the night...my friend won

-Ghost pimp largely consists of fake snow in a can, it sprays out in a gloppy mess and takes forever to dry

-All of our doodles from the night were hot glued to the canvas, as well as every single can of amp we drank (about 13 cans total i think) and a few pop-tart wrappers.

-We actually put this into an art show, titled "Ghostpimp and Bulby go to Mars and find nothing"

yeah i know the actual paintings a piece of shit but i wasn't as good an artist then, and my friends no artist, but it was a hell of alot of fun to make

Soz for not replying in ages Cap'n, been stupidly busy. Love the new (ish) stencil. The one that came out sideways first. The first T-shirt is awesome man. I'd buy that. Instead of spraying them each time, why don't you make a master spray on some card or cartridge paper (A3 I imagine). You can photocopy it onto special print paper. If you heat press that onto a T-shirt it should hold up well. There's also a method where you have the black and white image on paper, if you put special inks where you want colour and heat press that onto material (the more polyester the better), it transfers straight across. It won't wash out either as when the ink is heated it turns straight into a gas and dies the fibres of the T-shirt. I'm guessing you've got a print room at your college (my fav place in college), ask there.
