I will create GTA skins

I have already made some GTA skins for Grand Theft Auto 3. Unfortunately I can't find San Andreas and Vice City so until I find them you'll just receive skins for GTA 3.

If you guys use photoshop or some type of program to create a JPEG format of the default skin for San Andreas and Vice City I will make photoshoped skins for you. If you can't do that my e-mail is [e-mail], you can send me default skins there.

I hope you enjoy the ones I made so far. I have made a burn victim, a clown, and a zombie so far. More are to come soon. I may get some shuteye soon though so I hope do make some good skins before I sleep. Feel free to make suggestions yourself or post some of your own skins.

I did make these and I think photoshop is a form of art so please don't lock this.

Remember if you post the default skin for San Andreas or Vice City and suggest an idea for a skin I'll make it. I am also willing to remake the burn victim, clown, and zombie if any of you want. I will search for San Andreas. I will be making more, you may also suggest how I can make these better.

These were a little bit rushed because I was just excited to produce skins.

Well here is the clown. I did check these out on GTA 3 and they came out the way I wanted so I'm happy. I will also spend more time on the requested ones. Here you guys go, the clown.

Essentially yes, unless you know how to create a encrypted file that can be used to replace the file that gives the character his shape. Do you have that program? I doubt it.

I'd say the photoshop program isn't crappy. Also yes, I did not draw anything and I can not draw stuff on the character unless I use said program to change the character's shape. These are called skins for a reason.

no, its a recolor, and i wasnt saying photoshop sucked, i was saying that you did if you think you did something so phenominal...it has a recolor, and you admit to not drawing anything, and you didnt change its shape you just recolored it...

They are skins for a reason, I am not going to drastically change the god damn skin just for you, I'll make the character look like what I want it too because this is for a game not for some fucking competition.

Yeah o.k. fine point well taken, I only got pissed at that guy because when he typed what he typed it had a cocky voice to it and it pissed me off. Next time I post here I know that people (especially that ass up there) don't want sprites and they want artwork. I am becoming interested in drawing shapes and objects. Maybe I'll post some stuff.

Of course you didn't alter the shape of the character but there's more to skinning than using the "hue" option or brushing over the existing skin in green or red.

You could, for instance, if you're feeling especially wild, perhaps, try to give him another shirt or something?

This has gone for far too long. STOP and look at what you have written. these skins are for a game not a halloween costume so please stop insulting each other. Even though it does seem like a recolour (no offence) since the hair and face has not changed but I do think they are good skins all the same. they would be fun in youtube movies and stuff. Just change the hair, clothes and face unless if you planned it that way which is fine. I still think they are cool.

I know you can edit the character's model. I just don't have said program. I get your point though I did not try to seem like someone who thinks the gta player model is carved of stone and can't be edited. I'm sorry if I came off like that to you. Also yes, point taken I will try to make some quality skins and maybe models. I am downloading 3ds max. Also, does this mean I can edit the weapons and cars? I know it has to be possible since the player can be changed.

Thank you for saying my skins are o.k. I put them in GTA 3 and they look cool, the burn victim especially since the screen is darker it really does look like a burn wound. Anyway I'll try my hand at 3ds max. I will probably change more on the clown, I feel there is something missing.

Again thanks for the compliment, some people don't realize that when you put effort into something and then get to apply said effort that it hurts when people say your stuff is shit.

I was also thinking of drawing the default skin on a piece of paper and instead of darker spots, I will do crosshatching and then upload it so it looks like I'm playing a sketched gta character (he won't be colored). I'll probably work on that sometime soon. And again if and when 3ds max finishes downloading I'll try my hand at making characters. Wouldn't playing Pico be cool?

But I want to be more original and so I have to brainstorm what I want to make. I'm thinking of a zombie with tattered clothes and definitely scars, maybe a missing jaw. I also will try to make up other stuff and yes I know zombies are not "original" lol they are just cool. Anyway I will definitely put effort into making character models when this finishes downloading I draw better than I photoshop since I am new to the program lol.

Anyway thanks for your post, it cheered me up after getting shit on by all these impolite users.
