can I be an underdog?

I've been submitting on this site for a year or three now, mostly electronica using mostly the Buzz tracker, which I've publicly endorsed on many occasions, since I think it's a great tool, and it's legally free. My music is generally a bit on the weird side; that's how I likes it. I don't submit as often as I used to, but I'll put up a new track every now and again. I don't think there are more than 4 reviews for my past 4 tracks, which is saying something, since they range back to november...

seconded. listened to a few of your tracks, and they are very different, and while they can be a little random (the misc loops) they are, again, very different. In this case, i'd say this difference is very good!

True, most of my stuff might be pretty straight forward but there's definetly some unique tracks in there right?

They're pretty different. Might not be the best quality but it's hard to master stepping out of your own comfort zone right?

Believe me, I would have nominated you a long time ago had you not received so much attention for Sexually Transmitted Intelligence (front paged.) Also, you've released a cd... though I do have to admit, you don't receive as much attention as you deserve :P

Not an underdog. One of your songs has 29 reviews... I don't think that qualifies as "undiscovered" within the NG community.

Ar, no doubt he isn't an underdog, but that doesn't mean we can't support him by buying his cd. to bad you can get most of it for free here on newgrounds :P

Hey all
was hoping to see if i could be nominated

first off
my stuff is a bit different
i really dont make songs with to much technical ability
I just play what sounds good
and to me that is anything trippy, that makes me feel good,
or makes me question what this song could actually represent

i started make music last summer
with no real music background i got a midi keyboard and reason
and just kinda started playing till i got comofortable using reason
then songs just kinda started forming

also i really couldnt categorize these its not like techno, trance, DnB,
or any other electronic music genre

so i guess go have a listen and ill be glad to leave a review for anyone that leaves me one

I think I've been here long enough to nominate myself...so here's a little history:

I first submitted in May '06, which was a terrible song mostly made out of garageband loops. Presently, I'm still using garageband (mostly), but only to record into, because I've moved to making stuff entirely on external hardware. I like to make unique-sounding stuff that's probably closest to the ambient genre. I use a keyboard synth, a drum machine, a piano, and sometimes guitars/bass guitars. I take a lot of time on each thing, which might be part of my problem of not really getting a lot of listens, but I can't submit something until I'm sure it's done- even if I've been working on it for an absurd amount of time. The most reviews I've gotten on a track is six, but that was five or six submissions ago. So yeah, I guess I'll nominate myself as an underdog.

Ok, I've finally found an nderdog to nominate.
Intero for the Classical genre.
His work is very good. I'll recommend a listen of Marching to War

Out of the songs I've listened to so far, his music is definitely worth more than the half a dozen reviews it recieves.
