my cpu would be a dual core 2. something (not that good, but gets the job done) It would have good ventilation cause it's on around 18 hours a day. Would need a least 1 gig or two for ram, cause I don't know how to close processes, thus needing some nice multiple task-ability. and the video card would be an ATI 2900pro 512 in crossfire, but I don't get enough power, so one of the cards is going to shit. God I hope you got that joke.

Well if you think about it, the brain is a computer. It's just powered differently, it's far superior to any modern AI technology and it evolves and takes care of itself, without any outer identities to do the job for them. We're playing gods, we just havn't gotten that far yet.

Haha yeah, it's a shame. :) Just think about all the hidden power . . . comparing human brains and normal computers, I wonder how much memory, in GB, we can store . . .

it is a myth that you only use 10% of your brain

a myth continued by people who probably only use 10% of their brain

I like the 'full of porn' answer. Kinda an obvious NG response, but still, good.

Heh, obvious.

Anyway, for what I care, it would be impossible to limit the brain, since it can grow.
But I don't think our maximum capacity can be expressed in bytes.
For one, because I think the human brain can store limitless amounts of information.
For two, you can probably only express what you already know in bytes.
Heh, everything you read will be saved in either notepad or word, with a nice comic sans MS font.
And pictures can only be opened in paint.
And... CALCULATOR WILL BE YOUR MATHS-PROCESSOR

True, but most people do use very little of their full potential power . . . I wonder how many percent I'm running ATM, haha

a myth continued by people who probably only use 10% of their brain

Haha, most users here at the BBS probably use even less . . .

+1.. I believe the brain can store on work with alot bigger stuff then any computer on earth.
Just because a computer can calculate 1561651313213132131654^2323+562652152*56 11/15210001*0+51613*0*4546465
is seconds doesn't mean it's smarter.

BTW. If you can't solve that example, then you're plain dumb.
