Forcing people to watch the flash only guarantees they will load the movie before they exit and vote.

the time limit seemed to work pretty well in preventing some of the dogshit from passing back when it was in place. and, more importantly, it allowed for at least SOME crew flashes to get good scores, rather than having them all banished to 3.3 or lower regardless of quality.

Getting rid of the BP system will only make the number a theoretical and superficial device like the whistle system is.

Just to clarify crews like the Lucky 7 and the GWC, do not have alts. Thats a huge misconseption. Crews that do have alts are:
KK: Owl Organazition members, THE NEW GLOCK GROUP MEMBERS, Coon Crew members, RockRegion Members etc.

My crew has no alts, i always back round check my members before i let them join, if i see one trace of trouble making problems i will ban them from our crew and website.

At least we can agree. I think we need a stop to this alt accounts. I mean some alts are kind of easy to figure out. You can tell just by news posts, flashes, names, pictures, reviews, and forum posts.

People were doing this? well i for one am shocked and appalled. Tell me how are my sucking up skills? but seriously i had no idea i always wondered why people would make a second account. I have my one and i'm keeping it. Why would i want to start ALL over with another one? at that point i can officially say that my social life is at a all time low.

They don't just make two, they make as much as they want. As long as they have multiple email, the will to do it, they'll do it. I mean think about it, if someone makes a flash submission right, all the person needs is 200 accounts (never gunna happen, cause wade, tom, ross, and the rest of the admins are toooooo fast.) to vote 5. Now think:

200 votes: Pass Judgement
200 votes of 5= 5.00/5.00 Topping the best flashes of all time.

Now Someone Could make an account called A, then make 200 accounts but adding the applabet. So they could submit 400 flashes per day, and all they needed to do was keep on voting.

yes this is good, maybe some of the spam in the portal will cease. I mean spam is intentionally making crappy flashes just to block the portal flow. Even though many think the GWC and L7C spam it is not true, we are just not the greastet flash artists.

I've had that done for me before, from what I know it's not breaking any rules.

As much as I support the mass elimination of alt-toting main accounts, I find myself just a little bit unsettled by the idea that innocent accounts could be framed and/or eliminated in the crossfire. Also the possibility that Newgrounds is one step closer to becoming a police state, so to speak.

Well, nice to hear alts that serve to steal awards will get deleted and the main one as well, but I have a question.

What about spam alts/stealing flash alts? In other words, alts that steal flash movies/games and submit it as their own or making abusive reviews so the main account can flag it. What happens to those alts?

Wade could probably do an IP check since he's an admin...
(there are other things he could do like comparing logon/activity times. If both accounts are active at the same time then they're usually not the same person)

Yes you can still do that I belive, just so long as you don't give it more than one vote. Though they could prevent people from voteing on their own flash. There isn't much point preventing it, most cases it probably isn't going to make a diffrence.

I find it funny how tons of harmless users are asking about their brother's/sister's/cousin's/alt/mom's account and turning in gimmick accounts they made years ago, and probably forgot the pass to, as if Wade can instantly generate a list of every single user and lower-stat accounts from the same IP (and delete all the alts).
