Although if a comet did hit Earth, Newgrounds would survive because we have such high level users that it would prevent the website from being destroyed. Except all 07 and 08ers would be gone for good. Sorry guys.

Yea, I farm Anal Penguins. Do something about it.

1 Astronomical Unit = 149 598 000 kilometers

And the closest that 'meteor' will get is 0.00083 AU which is 800 000 km.

Yeah, the world won't end any time soon.

"Well, since everybody is being so open...Mr. ____....I love you."

"What?!"

"I-In that color! *Sigh*, I knew the boathouse was the right time to tell him!"

50 cool points for whoever gets this reference.

I hope everybody had a real, real good time.

space is very vast and a 50/50 chance of being struck by a meteor is still pretty slim in space. it could just be pulled into the sun, missing us completely. or it could just burn up in the atmosphere. you also have to consider the size of the meteor, its speed, and most importantly, how other planets effect it.

Let us all just hope that America, since it is the "best" country in the world, saves the day.
(Oh yes, i hate america, and i wouldnt find it suprising to see someone else hate them. That is, unless they actually save the day XD) End thread?//

I never buy into end of the world bullshit its all so fucking pointless and trivial.

And this one, is one of the few ones with actual scientific data backing it up, but even still it will hit the southern hemisphere and us northerners will be fine. Good we need to kill off some humans anyway.

That's great, it starts with an earthquake, birds and snakes,
an aeroplane - Lenny Bruce is not afraid.
Eye of a hurricane, listen to yourself churn,
world serves its own needs, dummy serve your own needs.
Feed it off an aux speak,, grunt, no, strength,
The ladder starts to clatter with fear fight down height.
Wire in a fire, representing seven games, a government for hire and a combat site.
Left of west and coming in a hurry with the furies breathing down your neck.
Team by team reporters baffled, trumped, tethered cropped.
Look at that low playing!
Fine, then.
Uh oh, overflow, population, common food, but it'll do.
Save yourself, serve yourself. World serves its own needs, listen to your heart bleed dummy with the rapture and the revered and the right - right.
You vitriolic, patriotic, slam, fight, bright light, feeling pretty psyched.

It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

Six o'clock - TV hour. Don't get caught in foreign towers.
Slash and burn, return, listen to yourself churn.
Locking in, uniforming, book burning, blood letting.
Every motive escalate. Automotive incinerate.
Light a candle, light a votive. Step down, step down.
Watch your heel crush, crushed. Uh-oh, this means no fear cavalier.
Renegade steer clear! A tournament, a tournament, a tournament of lies.
Offer me solutions, offer me alternatives and I decline.

It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it. (It's time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it (It's time I had some time alone) and I feel fine.

It's the end of the world as we know it (It's time I had some time alone) and I feel fine.

The other night I dreamt of knives, continental drift divide. Mountains sit in a line
Leonard Bernstein. Leonid Brezhnev. Lenny Bruce and Lester Bangs.
Birthday party, cheesecake, jelly bean, boom!
You symbiotic, patriotic, slam book neck, right? Right.

It's the end of the world as we know it. (It's time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it. (It's time I had some time alone)

Ok, the asteroid can hit Earth, but is it big enough to destroy us?

Hmmm...
We have a big bad meteor
And a s**tload of nukes

Get the picture? :D
Although I know all of the possible consequences and possibilities what could happen if we launch a big friggin nuke attack on that bastard. We still should try to do something, I'd better die trying to save our world than praying for mercy.
Anyway those would be some really serious fireworks.

But if It works we could proudly say:

End of the world, Jan 28, 2008?
