Actually, it's considered an unrepentable sin because it's an incredibly high act of selfishness and there would be no way to repent. Also, something as beautiful as life, given to you by God, shouldn't be up for you to decide when to end it. It's a gift, not a privilege. Life should be treated as one, a gift, not a burden.
