I recently discovered a drawing I made earlier of one of my ACs from Nexus. The greatest challenge was trying to draw my mech while it was rotating on my TV screen. I messed up on the legs, but everything else seems alright. Here ya go guys, a never before seen sketch of my old AC, Lucky Star (please don't ask how I got the name, really).

that's pretty sweet. Man how I miss that game. Would you happen to have other mecha games like steel battalion, Steel Lancer Arena International, Cyberbots, Virtual On, or Gundam? My scanner is being a piece of crap so I'm temporarily out of commission.

Hate to do this, but I couldn't stop looking at this one and had to post it.

I think it's hilarious! The soldiers look very cartoony yet the mecha looks like it came from a somewhat mature anime (AND it's freakin' Godzilla sized!).

Thanks! I was going for that sort of thing, but take a good look at the soldiers. One's running away, two are running into each other, one's in a fetile position, one's running TOWARDS the AC, one's getting thrown around by the thrust of the AC's retro boosters, and one is running to the left, where the second foot will be touching down! I always envisioned AC's and Gundam's as being hundreds of feet tall, and I refuse to believe any concept art or whatever even done by the original creators showing otherwise.

This is a mech that I threw together in the open-source 3D animation software, Blender.

I'll be perfectly honest - It was never meant to be 'pretty'. It was really just a background feature of an animation I did a few months back... But still, I like it and I'm postin' it up.... Even if it does look like a nazi-robot.

mind if I post this quicky? (5 minutes without the geometry shapes I usually use and was holding the stylus differently)

Well, it's not a sketch, but it's a cool styalized mech I made, and I just wanna ahow off a bit, lol. I'm a big mech person, I draw robots a lot, and I started experimenting with this style, and I think I finally have something that's unique. Anyway, please don't get too mad that it's not a sketch...

it is unique to say the least. it looks simplified and flat, and it sorta reminds me of those sprites from meteos.

Hey, nice one derchezle. Here's another mecha I made from ground up with inspiration from the cloverfield monster. This is actually more like a power suit and would stand roughly 9-12 feet tall.
