24 is the norm, but I like 30.

With 30, you can double up cells of animation to simulate a 24 FPS environment while still maintaining a smooth tween speed. 30fps animation can also be directly converted to .MP4 without desynchronizing.

your actually simulating 15 FPS if you work in two's, I like 24 FPS though it's my fav.

Do you practice empiricism? Well, I'll tell you now...your vacuous.

I find 24 FPS is good because the motion is adequately smooth, and there is rarely any frame skippage. The next option upward is 30 FPS, but you occasionally run into frame skipping with that, and, with FBF, the file size can be significantly larger. If I use 30 FPS, then it's because I'm animating some parts on two's and 15 FPS is far superior to 12 FPS.

Usually, less than 24 FPS is not desirable because it will make tweens look jerky, and most movies have tweens to some extent.

24 on doubles for fbf intensive animations, 30 for tweening, fbf done on doubles or triples. thats what i use.

30-35, but I am a coder... With code it usually kills at least 6 frame rate and web sites so you end up with 24 frames per second so i like that the best.

I animate at 24 fps no doubles, but I'm learning proper choreography so later I could probably get away with doubles.
