I lied to the System

So I got Civilisation Chronicles today which has all the Civilization games plus expansion packs for the 1-3 games and some spiffy extras.

I was installing and it was going well until I got to Civ 4. I installed the main stuff and got to the Xfire installation screen. It was on the disc and I did something stupid.

It asked me if I wanted to install it. But I could only install it if I had friends. Like the whole "if you don't agree then you're gay" thing. I installed it thinking I could lie to the system. I have no friends, I'm on Newgrounds so it's not like anyone else here has friends.

I installed it and now I'm fearing for my life. Half a dozen police cars are outside an hour after I installed it. At the moment there is a police man with a mega phone telling me to come out or he'll send in a SAS team. I know they know I said I had friends but I didn't.

The mega phone man started shouting something about Xfire. I just hope they don't find out I didn't restart the computer when I installed Oblivion. I mean that's like the death penalty.

I used to play Civ I and II.
I never really enjoyed them.
I always thought as soon as I started to go well that my civilisation would take off into space and I would have to start all over again, it was a space race after all.
But at the same time, that is the reason why I liked Sim City 2000.

Inform the police that it was a simple error. By 'friends' they meant other basement dwellers who you can speak to in your basement dialect.

I can't remember the last time I registered a game, I think I'm going down for a long time.

I registered a game once, because it promised a password to unlock additional movies.
It did not work!
