*pokes head in*

Hey, this is a lot quieter than the General forum!

I originally had a beautiful vector room (I think that's what you call this), done mainly with the line tool in Flash 8.

Then, while working on a model car, I noticed after finishing it I'd accidentally deleted the room, and saved, too fart back to undo.

This is the remake - the original had a wonderful bookcase with uber shading, that I'll probably remake. In the meantime, what do you think of this?

(Also - what kind of style is this called? I assumed vector.)

Actually, it's done with the pen tool. Nice guess, though. How can I work on it, improve it?

Proportions are messed up. The table legs, the tape for the poster, way too big. Otherwise it looks great.

The perspective is everywhere , i might do a redline on your current , depends if i cba, but yeah, at that angle you should be sticking to 1 point, and i can atleast see 2.

I really like the car in that shot, you did all of this with the pen tool? I hate the pen tool... it always manages to mistreat me. So props for useing something I usually don't.

Also, the best part about this shot has to be the car, very well drawn.

If you were trying to go with an isometric touch... it didn't quite work.

As Cyberdevil already said, the proportions are a little messed up.
It seems to be vector drawn, so yeah, it's vector art.

Try some lighter colours and not so many thick, overly straight lines.

With lighter colors it's easier to do shading.

The table, for instance, would be a joke to shade in its current state.

Ahah! I knew I'd forgotten something.

That's a pity, because normally I have fan-fucking-tastic perspective. I'll fix that up as soon as I finish my other piece of V.A...

Isometric means what, exactly?

I had a hunch that's what you would call it. Thanks.

Believe me, I tried. I definitely need to fix the table. The problem is, how do you shade something that's black? Use highlights in place of shading?
