as long as my ping is under 200 i can play fine with the occaisional lag spot, although i found a server where i can get around 16-20ish which makes me happy in my pants :P

Its always good finding servers like that. Holidays for 2 weeks so i may be able to squeeze a game or 3 in between all my study and homework.

Yes DoD Source is indeed bad. It is really easy to die, really annoying and very boring.
I think i will stick to TF2.

You need to learn to play.
The idea of being easy to die is that it's also easy to kill. Not so boring since you can change weapons without changing classes. Unlike TF2.

Does anyone else than me enjoy surfing? My friends think surfing is best in CS:S, but I disagree. I think spies make TF2 surfing very interesting.

Most of them are like CSS surf maps, but most of the servers have attributes that make it really hard to surf properly.

Do try it, It's great. I think it's easier to surf on TF2 than on CS:S and honestly I think that TF2 has better surfing. One reason is the spy, it adds a new dimension to surfing :)
