I got a
Scrap Sack (Robo Pyrotechnic Tote)
Titanium Towel (Robo Toss proof towel)
Firewall Helmet (Robo Brigade Helmet)
for sale. Is anyone interested in doing 1:1 for a steam pipe?

But the two robo hats I have are both for demo and I wanted one demo and one pyro hat. I guess if I had the Scrap Sack I wouldn't be able to use my Sight For Sore Eyes, and I am never removing those.

Damn, I didn't even realize how good I liked. I wish that Tuxxy was more visible on the demo.

I also happened to get into a server where a bunch of the item contributors where getting interviewed in. They unboxed tons of crates, which means they also got tons of of Pallets of crates. All of them used those pallets which means I now have 109 crates I have no use for at all. Included a shit ton of robocrates.

Nice, I was listening to the Kritkast livestream and watching the video feed of that same server. They were certainty ecstatic of the event and jokingly poke fun at the spuf threads that were sprouting outcrys of disappointment. The podcast that followed really gave me a new light on what the community can accomplish and how the robotic boogaloo came to be.

Kudos to the team. If anyone else is interested in the podcast, here's the link.

Use 'print screen'
Then you can open something like MS paint and click on paste or whatever.

Hey guys, I just wanna give you all an update on the server. I haven't started it lately because of the steampipe update.
I am wondering if I should rent an actual server. What's really holding me back is that I don't really want to spend the money if no one really joins in it. I do not wish to sound like a Scrooge, mind you. It's more or less the fact that no one really joined it when it was open. I don't blame anyone, I am just wondering if it would be a smart thing to do.

I wonder, how does one make a popular server anyway? Is it just because people are aware of it?
I don't really mean popular by "OMG EVERYONE TEH KNOWS IT" but I mean to the point where you
will have a crowd, that will make a person who joins it want to stay, instead of leave due to it being low in players.

I am very sorry for all these delays and such.

Pretty sure the only thing you need these days to get a popular server is make it quickplay enabled.

Advertise it in your sig, on websites, your blog, your facebook, all that shit. Sometimes I see people advertising on a server for theirs, try that if you want. And I would join the server, I still haven't.

i haven't traded for a while and i really want a strange original for some reason so i went about price checking and to my amazement keys are worth 5.33 ref now? the fuck happened

it's just so strange because i feel like everything i owned that was priced >1 key, i.e. a hat/misc for 1.3 ref, has lost value because it's price has remained constant but everything else is now worth more, relatively speaking. if that makes sense

e.g. my ts bill's hat is worth more in some regards because now it's still worth about 9 keys but now i could trade it in for more hats than i could a few months ago. hats just keep losing their value

i dont understand the price fluctuations very well :(

i'd be really interested in a video documenting the frequent price changes of tf2 items and the rise of the economy

The economy went up

Bill's hat is worth 8 keys, the new price list update changed it back to that.

Keys became marketable, metal didn't. Keys are still the same price as they always were (about $1.80), metal is just worthless now.

metal is just worthless now.

If you're saying that, then that means some miscs and hats are worthless then, like the spooky sleeves or
Pyro's Beanie.

All hats and miscs are cheaper now in pure cash terms because the metal to craft them is also cheaper. Craft hats are still 1.33 refined, but refined is cheaper than it used to be, so hats are also cheaper.

Fair enough, but that's not to say metal is worthless, it still has some value in the market, it still has some value, just not as much.
