Almost nothing but medic for me in MVM.
Oh wait, that hardly sounds any different compared to the PvP games. Paha. Kritzkrieg really does make gods.

I finally finished a match of mvm. It was awesome. I got into a pretty good team and we ended up beating 4 maps together.

Finished a full tour now. Got a silver botkiller medigun as a result. Tanks are actually pretty free. But holy crap, that was a lot of guys in the endurance challenge. Spies certainly help out against those trigger-happy uber medics.

But RIP old strange medigun, 1160 ubers and 3807 kill assists.

If i ever got a botkiller weapon, I think I'd just sell it. Too much work put into my other stranges.

i bought some mann up tickets yesterday and just spent the past 4 hours grinding the first mission on decoy

shit was hard as nails, especially the later waves but even then the final wave was as hard as even harder nails.

but, the ragtag group of people i was with managed to persevere. i swear we put at least 1+ hours in solely for the last wave. we had a demo, an engie, a spy, heavy, kritz medic and a pyro, a reasonable team comp but we still wiped so many times until we lucked out with second tank as we got it when it was milliseconds from blowing up

BLAH BLAH BLAH OTHER STUFF

The first time I tried mann up it only took me an hour and a half but I had a pretty competent team including this fine gentleman.

I'm actually quite surprised there aren't any new Demoman lines.
Isn't the guy who does the Heavy also do the voice for the Demoman?
You'd think they have him do the Demoman lines too...

I checked the sound library, he doesn't have any lines for it.

I played with the MvM mode, it was fun.
I was mostly a Heavy and we sort of did well, it was still fun.

Kinda wished stranges counted killing the bots in MvM mode towards ranking up...
I'd have a Wicked Nasty Shotgun instead of a Gore-Spattered one by now if they did, as I easily have killed 71 bots with it...

It's at 429 kills right now, and Wicked Nasty is at 500 kills

Meh, I'll probably go to the LEGION OF PONIES - NOT LUIGI KART server and get some kills with it, since weapons always crit on that server.

After all, that's how I got my Strange Shortstop to Uncharitable...

If you want a fun loadout to use, equip Baby Face's Blaster, Flying Guillotine, and Boston Basher, especially on a DM map...

Had a Bolted Bushman drop in my last MvM game, which also happened to be the easiest I've played. Great team I was on.

Been pretty good for drops recently, actually. Had a Geisha Boy drop in the middle of a match a few days ago.

I've managed to get TF2 working on my Ubuntu OS, but it lags like hell.
I know Valve is developing for steam to work on Linux, but I'm just impatient sometimes. Oh well.

Eh... I think the new MvM mode is really fun and all, but one thing I dislike about it is that at some point, when things aren't going too smoothly anymore, half of the team will bail out / rage quit and you're pretty much forced to give up. This happened in all the games I've been in so far, even in the ones where we were actually doing very well and could've easily finished another wave with a tiny bit more luck.

Anybody ever notice that sometimes MvM weapon drops have weird levels? That there's supposed to be at level 10.
I've also seen a level 2 conniver's kunai.

Linux is actually getting more praise for PC Gaming, just few people are realizing this fact.
Plus L4D2 runs faster on Linux

I got a level 1 Widowmaker last game. Usually level 5.

Will this be worth anything?

Has anybody else had problems where as soon as the bots drop on the final wave on Decoy, the game lags like hell and the frame rate drops a shit ton, and it stays like that for the rest of the match, even if you fail the wave? The only way I can fix this is by leaving the server, and it's not a good thing to do since it's always in Mann Up mode.

Don't know what happens if you restart the wave...

Nah, and I did both Decoy levels this morning. The only major bug I've hit is that spot you can sentry jump to on Mannworks that breaks the Sentry Buster pathfinding causing them to explode as soon as they spawn, before they even get down the hill, and causing the ticking sound to play forever.

I've had lag for both this update and pyromania. I had to verify the game cache for it to be fixed.

there's are two similar spots on decoy where you have to sentry jump > place teleport exit down to reach. the busters can't path so they blow up and the bots can't path if they agrro so they just stand still looking at it if you place a sentry up there.

finished my first tour of duty today, woo

got a strange botkiller flamethrower, no gold :(. gonna try and sell it for 3 keys i guess. i prefer to use the degreaser for pyro

Went through a full MvM round as a spy. MMMMMnot bad. Stabbing charged medics is satisfying as always, not to mention very helpful considering how they tank the super bots.

Someone's bound to start another stupid market trend the same way the off-level vintages are priced higher than normal. I'd keep it until then.

There's nothing better than killing 4 uber medics with a single sticky bomb detonation. Demoman is probably my favourite MvM class now, although I haven't really tried Pyro, Spy or Sniper.

I found Pyro + Backburner to be very effective, especially to sweep a lot of robots right at their dropping point. If you add some Health on Kill upgrades to your flamethrower you can generally hang in there for a long time too.

Sniper is probably my least favourite class in MvM. Maybe I just suck at it, but I can never manage to be of much use and only end up with a small handful of kills every wave.

But airblast is pyros most useful ability in MvM, I'd be very wary of making it so expensive. Need to be able to stall super scouts and sentry busters, separate uber medics from their giants and reset the bomb by knocking it down holes or at the very least forcing them to go a longer way around.
