Don't know how it's possible to run out of ammo. At midrange you can score 25-30 per shot which gives you the ability to just spam, and at close range you can make back enough ammo to drop minisentries as soon as one dies. Soldiers and Heavies were problematic, but I was dropping everything else just by charging and spraying at them. Even Soldiers aren't too bad if your minisentry is already up.

First hat drop in 2 years today, a Chieftain's Challenge.

Was going to craft it with my Ushanka, but when I put them up on the outpost to see if anyone wanted to save them someone gave me an Outdoorsman for the Ushanka, which I might actually keep.

I am convinced that the this game hates me... or atleast the replay system does.
Every time I get a good run going, the replay is always corrupted....

I sometimes forget to record demos if I switch servers.

Oh well, at least he was generous enough to give me a clean Ol' Snaggletooth. As a consolation prize.

People have even raffled earbuds away. Is there a problem?
Speaking of giving high-value stuff away, unusual.

Hmm... I don't really like the idea of opening up health regeneration to classes besides the medic.

Seems way to powerful. Luckily the creators of the items usually doesn't get a saying on what stats are applied to it.

Hour whoring? Only 1452 hours...
Oh, also I had some fun with the wrap assassin last night on Turbine. Managed to get a few light classes to bleed to death on certain occasions, along with a direct ball kill on another guy. Then again, getting hits off on people with non-explosive and non-huntsman arrow projectiles is just so fun for me. Especially if it happens to an enemy sniper.

+3 per sec isn't that much when you get pelted by rockets and flames and sentries alot.

i say leave it in.

Well, think of it like this. The +3 Hp / sec bonus + a medic = ? Yeah, you'd probably leave with enough hp to be healed with a kritzkrieg, meaning health + crits. Ofcourse, Uber is still kinda more useable, but the regen might be a bit too much.

Thanks god i'm still not claimed by the game... Altho i'm a bit achievement obssesed D:

Not to mention that the Gloves of Running Urgently wouldn't lower health as much.

also what about arena mode?

I recently created a skill/luck graph and need some opinions on it. How bad is is and what do I need to change?

This varies hugely depending on the level of play. Are we talking skill floor, skill ceiling or just average player?

It could also vary on what weapon's the player is using.

Regular Gun = ...Skill?

Demoman is pretty easy to own with wven without skill. Luck also helps with him (e.g. crit pipebombs). Soldier also should be moved more to the right, since luck big factor with him (e.g. spamming rockets, crockets).

As a career engy, I would like to think the the engy requires more skill, at least to be successful. It's all about sentry placement and what's best for your team.

It's pretty much all wrong.

It should be:
Sniper requires the most skill hands down.
Scout because dodging aiming etc
Most of the people would say spy here, but spy/pyro/engie almost always rely on their opponents being bad/worse so i won't include them in this list.
Soldier because playing him on good maps and with above average skill level players actually makes him a lot harder.
Demoman = poot sticky in general direction etc
Medic also requires a lot of skill on above average skill level as people are always going for you rather than mindlessly unloading at your patient.
Hovy ain't cool

Anyone have that annoying sniper that bragged, and acted like a complete annoying Douche on the mic just for being an average player?

Let's just say I had fun going spy and back stabbing him.

I understand getting competitive, I get competitive, but it's a fucking game. Clicking a mouse and taping on a keyboard doesn't make you a badass.

Well, the medic is kinda more of skill person, as it requires alot of dodgin the bullets/rockets/anything and staying behind your patient. To the person who said that huntsman is luck, well, yes, to a lot of people it is luck. But in sniper vs sniper battle a skilled huntsman user could wait for a good moment (like when the opponent runs to cover) and then shoot, and, if timed correctly, the arrow should hit the sniper the moment he leaves his cover. But this does involve a lot of luck, so i'd say huntsman is 20/80 or 30/70 skill/luck based weapon. And the graph is actually more based upon individual player, as one player might find it easy aiming fast, making him a good sniper, and other guy had really good reaction times, making him a good scout, but if they'd switch places, being skilled in one area wouldn't make them good in the other. So the graph is kinda pointless in that aspect. But other than that, stick to what Prome suggested, and it should be good.
