You do realize that this example is completely unrelated to this discussion?Let's just presume that none of us is insane, yes?
Soldier is ridiculously slow. He makes up for it by being able to rocket jump, which is a very versatile and easy to manouvre movement mechanic, which is pretty much the opposite of sticky jumping. SJing has distance, and that's about it. It may just be that since I mostly play Medic and Scout, I'm used to being a fast class, but to me, Soldier's walking speed is abysmal.
Well, yeah...it takes a short while to get used to Heavy/Soldier after a long Medic/Scout session.
Basically, the thing is that playing Demo got much harder after the WAR! update.
I used to be quite good, and Demo is still my 3rd MPC...but nowadays I barely get some decent points, and I need the 'cutter because players are constantly trying to melee me:
Spies, crazy Powerjack Pyros, Mackerel Scouts, Bushwacka Snipers, Imbalizer Soldiers and of couse Demoknights, they all want to get your ass.
Wat. I'd say a slower running speed makes this playstyle much more valuable, since you're stationary or restricted in movement a lot of the time, while you're camping out somewhere to spam stickies into.
Frankly, I wouldn't know because I never use sticky spam...it makes me feel cheap.
Well, I guess this explains why you inexplicably like the Skullcutter so much, and why you don't think speed is important.
Offence Demo here.
It does indeed...I don't play Offence Demo much anymore because of the aforementioned reasons.
Oh yeah it is. I have to pay US$90 for any of the recent big studio games, such as MW2, BlOps, Civ5, Mafia 2 etc.
90?Lol.Getting someone you trust to gift it to you and then send him the money via PayPal, even with all the fees, is still cheaper.
Nearly double what my US counterparts have to pay.
....or buy unusuals and trade them for games.
