You find yourself in this situation. You find a lone heavy. Just eating his sandvich.

WHAT DO YOU DO?
If he's on my team, i taunt/eat with him, if he isn't, i melee him to death :D

I'll do this as well. Generally, enemy Heavies eating Sandviches are an excellent way to charge Uber quickly :P

Well, l hope that you're not doing this anymore because now the heavy will just finish eating his sandvich and then kill you...melee isn't enough to kill a sandvich-eating heavy anymore, unless you get crits...
The funniest thing would be for a heavy to keep eating sandviches while a spy is stabbing him..happened to me once...l was the spy >:

Nah, I don't try to kill him - I just hit 4 times with the Ubersaw, and then GTFO of there.

Typically what I'd do.

I went sandvich-eating heavy last night (Changed my name to Pacifist Heavy), and I got killed left and right. Except by two people, another heavy that nom'd right along with me, and an engineer, after I was nommin' on his dispenser.

Oh, and a medic was healing me at some point.

"Alex, you're useless, why am I healing you?"
*taunt kills an enemy sniper*
"That's why."

I got 15 points with 1 kill, no assists. 'Twas fun. =D

Playing sandvich/melee heavy is fun. I once got a whole 32 slot pub server to play melee heavy. 'Twas BEST GAEM EVUR.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.

Sometimes the admins switch the map to cp_pacman_wtf, and enforces heavy boxing.

The red ghost gets SO many kills... and you can only run away from it as a Scout.

Though its hilarious to see a ghost just steamroll a group of heavies, and a chorus of deathcrys.

Just yesterday in Arena Lumberyard we got all the players to play as heavy and we enforced boxing only. We also allowed sandvich breaks where necessary.

Anyway, what's your latest achievement on TF2? Here's my two latest.

Mostly bug fixes then. The bonus point is good though, might give more incentive for Heavies to share.

I expected that Valve would fix the Sandvich exploit that SMS mentioned a while back as well. It was good while it lasted anyway.

And hopefully this health issue with the Sandman is fixed for good.

You do realise the Sandvich is technically broken now?

:* Fixed thrown sandvich traveling through players before being activated
If you're a heavy on anything less than full health; you get healed instantly. Which practically renders it useless in the situation where you are throwing the sandvich to your medic... Since its sorta a last resort to keep him alive...

Yeah, this is total bullshit now. There's hardly any use in dropping the Sandvich now since in most cases you'll heal yourself. Hopefully Valve fix this and put it back to normal... unless it was intended, in which case I have no idea what they're doing.

I've been playing with the Scout' Scattergun a lot more recently now. I used to not be able to use it very well, and stuck to the FaN... but I've gotten heaps better recently, and I managed to top the scoreboard on 2fort using it.

The only problem I had was dealing with Soldiers... any tips? Besides the usual, running around, try not to be obvious where you're moving etc.

I love FF. It actually feels like a Team Fortress game. TF2 is great, but it feels more like a game that's taken the class ideas from QTF/TFC and been made with very little resemblance to the original games, whereas FF feels like a TFC port to a more modern engine with a few extra features/fixes.

IMO the runspeed for TF2 should probably be a bit higher anyway. It takes you half an hour to get anywhere without teles/RJs/playing scout.

The solution: JUMP! JUMP!
In open areas, Souljas are easy to deal with. They rarely hit you directly with rockets, but rather do splash damage by aiming at the ground and the walls. If you jump around like hell, they'll have a tough time damaging you since direct hits with the rocket launcher against a scout are more luck than skill. Be careful though, a skilled soldier will switch to his shotgun. And fighting a soulja in a closed area is a bad idea, running away would be the better solution.

If the soldier DOES take out his shotgun, it doesn't hurt you too much in long range, so just whip out your pistol and pistol him to death, if he starts to reload, you can try to run in and blast him in the face with your scattercannon, of FaN, then jumping back and repeating. Or, you can just weaken him then run away, then when he's busy with a different person, jump out from an unexpected angle and blast him away.

Well, l can't say anything about this becuse l never played TFC....although l have to say, the character models look SOOOO generic compared to TF2 :(

Yes, a bit higher would do the trick, but apparently 60% of the FF mod is about jumping around while trying to aim at something/someone..not my idea of fun.
