When I'm on fire, there's a REASON why I hang around Pyros screaming 'MEDIC'.

Yes... people who don't know this and that you can put people out with the Pyro's airblast REALLY piss me off.

I wonder what would happen if a pyro airblasts back a flaming arrow. The arrow will deflect, but will the flames extinguish?

Well, I am not sure if you can. I mean.. I tried it but with no effect. I guess that the flaming arrow just goes back. Crit rockets do not de-ccrit when they are airblasted so why should the flaming arrow.

Also, I was playing and some players still say that the sniper rifle is much more suitable for killing than the huntsman. I was really sucking with the sniper rifle and I am fairly good with the huntsman but I cannot understand why.
Any ideas?

Huntsman uses a different hitbox detection than the sniper rifle. It acts like a rocket instead of a bullet, I hear.

Pretty much. You have to take into account the arc of the arrow.

Basically Rifle = Aim for the head
Huntsman = Solitaire with a bow.

Poor guy got a low score due to the Japanese song. Nice animation though.

Lol, that thing sucked major balls...it had very little animation, crappy anime style which DOES NOT fit into TF2 at all and of course that japanese thing...and it has been done before.
That's why it got a low score.

Also, is it normal that l can't see my lament on some servers?

I've been on servers where they've found ways to block it (funnily enough most of the server owners were idlers themselves,) so it could be that.

It really is sad that the community are so butthurt about the halos that server owners have to resort to this to keep things civil. I'm guessing that the main reason that servers are blocking it is to keep gameplay going smoothly and without argument. Stupid things like "Healers against Halos" are prime examples of this.

The server's I've been on with the blocked Halos had Equipment Manager on anyway, so you could get it from there.

I hope Valve comes to their senses and removes the halos altogether soon. Those stupid rings have caused to much trouble from butt-hurt idlers.

They won't remove them, since then they'll get the other 95% of people whinging about where there Halo went. Valve won't be able to win unless they give the idlers some hat as well as a 'prize'. And even then, it won't end since the idlers will insist their hat is better, or some shit.

I really don't envy Valve one bit, they opened a can of worms with those halos, that's for sure. It was a nice gesture, but it backfired in a way I don't think anyone expected.

Well, VALVe had to make a descision. Personally I am not against halos although I lost mine.
But I think a major removal and more raise of finding hat chances will do the trick.

I don't mind Halos. I just hate people who are either A. picking on halos because they are asspained idlers or B. pick on non-halos because they got their shit removed and no halo.
Also, every server should use equipment manager, seriously. The ME admins walk around with 'HUGE FAGGOT' neon signs on their head and randomly give it to players too.

Actually, they didn't. They could easily have VAC banned everyone who used the program, or at the least, just taken their items away. There was no need to give everyone who didn't idle a halo, but they did because clearly they wanted to reward the people who took the 'moral high road' as it were.

And they've already increased the chance of finding a hat. Didn't you read the latest blog post?

True that, but it doesn't change the fact that it was well within their power and right to do so.

The whole point of hats to me were to be rare to find, how much did they raise the chance of getting a hat? It seems to have raised from seeing one person using a class with a hat on a server to two or three, so it's beginning to confuse me.

I did, I mean EVEN MOAR higher chance. The weapons are annoyingly more easier to find than hats.
Also, I got the last weapons I didn't had yesterday. The ubersaw and the BONK! atomic punch(LOL?!)
I wanted to say, about the bonk drink, it may be useful for getting past sentries, but even then the others kill you. It is almost useless, except if you want to see WHERE are the snipers, sentries e.t.c.

Yeah, but Valve could easily have used an SQL statement, assuming they've got a query finding those that have recently used the idle program, to just change the "in good standing" to "banned". The non-VAC secured servers just meant that it wouldn't be picked up automatically by the service. It doesn't mean that a Valve employee can't go and change everyone's VAC status to banned.

The chance of finding the hat is now 4.5%, it's low, but respectably so.
Also, if they just deleted the idlers' hats and made them unable to find any for, say, one month while giving to the non-idlers a hat of their choice everybody would've been (relatively) happy.Definitely happier than they are now, that's for sure.

Oh jesus christ, its not like he waltzes on to servers and uses that thing. People need to grow the hell up and drop this thing. Acting like a bunch of babies you idlers (talking about the whiners). Zomg, he uses a rocket launcher that fires more missles? Well it seems to me that he was asked specially in this situation. Its an exception because what the info implies is that he wasn't going to use it in the first place if they hadn't asked him.

Uh, who the hell would ask for a multi-crit firing rocket launcher?Hmmm...maybe his team.
But first of all, what if he was just a guy named Robin Walker trying to impersonate the guy?...it happens all the time.
Also, I played in a server where most weapons had rapid fire, the sniper rifle is SOOO overpowered...you can take out a heavy from a very long distance with noscope in a matter of seconds...and l see more and more players with hats..soon, l will get one >:
And today l saw for the first time an engie with the red and white cap (kinda freaked me out :P ) and a demo with the traditional scottish hat, which is totally awesome.

I'm wondering that too. I'm sure I heard it was 3.75%, not 4.5%. I think it was on the Steam forums though, and they're full of shit for the most part.

Heavy, are you sure you're not mixing up the hat chance with the percent of people who idled?

They may have used the same percentage for both, 4.5% idlers, 4.5% extra drop rate. Not that I see any reason or logic to it.
