Doesn't it piss you off when you're a medic and you have a bad buddy?, let alone several bad buddies?
Several days ago, I was playing on the No Heroes (US) Warpath Elite Server, a server I frequent when it doesn't have assholes reserving slots for hours before they even play.
It was, of course, the final stretch to the last point, and I went through six fucking ubers on two seperate demos, and neither of them were more effective than ubering a crock of shit.
One of them launched stickies as he was supposed to, but instead of launching four like a good demo, he'd try to launch all of them, and my uber would run out, so I'd have to GTFO. He'd never detonate his stickies.
The other one felt that it would work if he strafed to the side of the nest and launched pipes into the sentry. Of course, this didn't work, and I abandoned him mid-uber the last time I ubered him.
Finally, due to some success I saw a pyro had with a sentry, I decided to spend my sixth on the pyro.
He kept telling me over VC to uber him, but he hadn't even crossed into the sentry's line of fire, or even the fucking bunker. He was probably afraid of getting ambushed by something as he was crossing through, as if he weren't overhealed and didn't have a medic who knew what the fuck he was doing.
I eventually got so pissed that he was being such a stupid wuss in a game where you respawn in about five seconds, I just went and ubered another demo, who did jack shit, just like every other time.
It was shameful, but we eventually won due to the mute members of the team knowing what they're doing.
On a lighter note, I beat my cap record as a soldier due to owning my way to the final point while BLU was still getting steamrolled past second, I blew away the demo with stickies on the point, and juggled the engie rushing to intercept me, and capped final before they could take any X-Lax to unclog their system. It was epic, and made up for the incompetence I had seen earlier.
