If any of you here were from canada and was born sometime during the 80's than you'll most likely remember watching an cartoon based on the wizard of oz from the 1960's

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nDpEp5JFr ZA

so does anyone else have any other obscure tv shows they watched as kids and want to tell us about?

Oh! Oh!

That Cat, who would teach you about safety. Do you remember it? It was when I was about 3...

And while on cats, I remember that show 'Billy The Cat'. Billy The Cat... He's a boy inside a caaaaat...

I will make a list of old cartoons that I miss...

Ren and Stimpy
Rocko's Modern Life
Dexter's Laboratory
Cow and Chicken
Beavis and Butthead
CatDog
The Angry Beavers
That one part in "Kaablaam!" with the caveman and alien...forget their names.

I also miss the Looney Toons, but I can still watch them on Boomerang.

ooh I loved this one
and this one but I like the dutch intro better

I loved them, and how about this one?

I believe I had action figures of this

and who can forget this?.

This intro also made my hairs stand up again.

and finally I enjoyed this one (dutch), although I dont know if this was available on american tellie!

anyways so much great television in the 80's, so different to what is on now... or maybe I just outgrew it. I still like watching fairly odd parents though

It just might have stopped airing just because it's old but the 1960's spiderman still comes on tv all the time in canada.

Gumby and speed racer should even make a come back since it'll likely still entertain todays kids and on another note robotech has made a come back in canada on a channel called space.

Any of you other people from canada will know what i'm exactly talking about.

You just took me back to my mother fucking golden age of innocence. Thank YOU.

However, I would just like to add this, and this, oh and this, and don't forget this one too, and hell, why not this as well.
Jesus, and how could I almost forget THIS.

Goddammit I miss the '80s. Kids these days have no idea what quality programming looks like. Or maybe I'm just getting old.
