Class Assignment

In my Design Fundamentals class our first project was to make a scene that was "us" themed... so far this is what I've come up with. The criteria was that we had to feature ourselves in our drawings and attempt to make ourselves look like we're part of the drawing and somehow squeez in multiple angles.

So here's me in my own comic book... thoughts and comments?

I prefer to think of it as crazy tatoos, but it also looks like some sort of persistent disease... That was the effect of my longa** arm hair getting the filter treatment...

I could work on the shading, and those "me's" could be zombies too... I should look into that in the future (It just makes me laugh!)

If it's a drawing assignment, don't you have to actually draw yourself, as opposed to applying filters to a photo in photoshop?

Nah, we were told specifically to draw the environment and then photoshop ourselves in, it's wierd but I'll do it for the grade.

doesnt really fit at all, I think i your better off using real subject matter to photoshop yourself in.

I think the object of the assignment is to see how well you could blend the character in, and as it stands it doesn't blend in at all.

you should try real subject matter of trace yourself in like a comic book, instead of just filter rape.

After taking some hearty advice here on the forums I landed on this as the final product for the class assignment. I was able to land an A+.

Oh yeah, and I intentionally used an unlatering picture of myself because those are funny.
