Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing
Big Rigs. Wow. Just wow. Allright, being a game programmer myself, I am just wondering: What the hell was wrong with the guys who created Big Rigs? Seriously, it just looks like they downloaded some free library, reached Tutorial Number 2 (out of 25), loaded a map and made a truck move around. And then stopped working altogether. And no AI. No, not even a crappy one. No, just no AI. Period. The game is completely unfinished. They didn't even bother to detect collision against secondary items in the map such as bridges and homes. They didn't care to program anything.
What is beyond me, is how the hell this game saw the light of day and made it into the public. I'm pretty confident that if I submit a game for evaluation for possible release, the bare minimum the releasing company will ask is to remove as many bugs as possible and to make the game enjoayble and cool. If I sumbitted a crap game, it would be totally rejected.
Jesus, 95% of the flash games here in the portal beat Big Rigs anyday.
How it got to be published, beats me...
