Cybernetic Organism -Cyborgs, Androids, half robot half human....as long as it looks close to human form it will be allowed

i put my suggestion and Vortexs suggestion and got rid of 2 on a list

Art rules
- No MsPaint
- No Animals
- ONLY Humanoids this includes creatures with human features(Half human for this one)
- Make your character based on my loose description, and feel free to add back-stories
- NO creatures unless they are a secondary focus of the piece
- Only one finished entry per User
- Make a description for your character
- Only JPEG format is allowed
- Finished image should be within 595x700 in dimension
- Create NEW art, don't post something old you've made
- Take time on your art, terrible artwork will not be accepted in the voting thread
- Character MUST be relevant to the subject
- make image size within 595Wx700H with a character card
that contains your characters name ,Character of the week number, and user name.

Count me in for this one! SI, I may have said it before, but your style reminds me so much of one of the Animatrix cartoons. I think its very original, and you should stick with it and develop it further! I'll get started on my cybernetic organism as soon as I can. HOO-RAH.

The character is a cyborg, and he was featured on a couple of my other threads. This is also a new pic.

Arthur Collins came into contact with an object that is later to be revealed as an "Armor Pod", a sentient machine that bonds to sentient creatures and effectively transforms them into cyborgs. Since then, Arthur has been aiding the sentient Armor Pod to reclaim stolen alien technology from the shadow government technology branch named Section XIII.

The Armor Pod (simply named "Five") grants its user tremendous strength (8 ton lift) and speed (running speed between 60-80 mph). The armor can resist all modern small arms fire and can withstands detonations of 155mm shells outside of a ten meter radias from the explosion. The pod also comes equipped with thermal cloaking systems and advanced sensory inputs. His weapons include concealed "quantum material" blades that at a fast enough velocity can slice through anything and two for-arm mounted energy beams that can blast through an inch of steel every .5 seconds.

Hello fellow CHOWers;

I call him frank mcqueen. A war vet from sometime in the near future. He was one of the first cyborgs to be deployed in battle and now he shares his experiences with the youngin's of war. Time worked on: about 3 or 4 hours.

Err, I've been looking at I,Robot too much eh?
Also, is the robotic part too subtle?

First off, nice piece of artwork... I could tell that there was something cybernetic going on with her shoulder, but I'm not sure how many people would catch that. Otherwise it's a very nice painting and one of the better entries so far...

Hey man, great colors! I'd say boost the contrast just a tad because they're becoming a bit dull, but great use of lighting in there!
I had a bit of a problem getting mine to look like anything robotic. I couldn't really tell the robotacity, so here's a suggestion: A quick search for "borg" on google gets you a lot of reference of this (race?) from star trek who are all teched out. It's where I got some ideas when I was stumped.

The Borg are a nice reference, but looking for cyborgs in general which includes "Bio Mechanical" in your search will help you find other types of cyborgs.

It's not that there subtle , i just think they actualy look like there petruding from beneath her skin , making it look incredibly ugly. Nice overall image, but unless tweaked don't think it fits into this category.

Very, very easy. But I also remember another nice challenge that asked for a cybernetic creature, which had some really cool entries. Inspirational.

I think I'm going to try something different. Something that feels more at home at newgrounds.
