Select Remote Play, hook up your PSP to your PS3 and go to USB Connection on you PSP and then select PS3.

Its not a safe bet, just one that makes sense. I can count the number of decent games for the PS3 on one hand, but I'm still immersed in games that are either Xbox exclusive or will only come out ages after for the Playstation (Oblivion, Stranglehold, Orange Box). I just don't like a lot of the games that the PS3 offers or will offer. I think the only game that can even put up a fight is Uncharted.

Now add on the fact that I paid less, no matter what you say still do gaming in beautifully rendered, shiny, next gen graphics, and I get an online service thats boatloads better regardless of the propaganda others spew a it.

erm, when I go to usb mode on my psp there's no 'select ps3' option, it just goes straight into usb mode and nothing happens. My system version is 3.72, do I need to upgrade?

from what ive seen uncharted looks pretty good however it will not be the console for me, i will get a 360 when i have the money, as Devil may cry, Final Fantasy, MGS have no appeal to me in anyway shape or form
