That might actually look going going from Red as 0 to Green as 10? Something like that maybe, lol. A meter would look nice though.

Yeah, I'm undecided on that. In a way I like it, because it stands out much more. On the other hand, it seems a little dominant over the rest of the review.

I like the way that instead of "4/10 people found this review helpful" it now says "People think this is a useless review" or "People found this review helpful". I think that's much more sensible, especially in terms of flagging reviews, as people won't see "0/10 people found this review helpful" and automatically think that 10 people have flagged it, causing them to flag it.

All in all, looks cool. Might take some getting used to though.

Yeah, I figure if they're using up so much space already, might as well put something cool-as-hell in that spot, right?

My favorite part about my above post is when I spelled sleek 2 different ways. ^_^

For the sake of feedback, I like the way it is less cluttered, and the addition of the user picture. The big yellow score is perhpas a bit too "in-your-face", but it's one of those get-used-to, like the actual redesign itself.

It looked cool at first, but then they added the big yellow score icon. Fucking shit. Also I think they removed the "3/10 people found this review usefull" and just replaced it with "Helpful" and "Unhelpful"

I like the new look. The score values in big font is a nice touch. I also like the buttons "+/-/*" for voting on the vote thingie.

One problem though: I think it's a bit difficult to tell which set of "+/-/*" goes with which person's review when looking at the expanded list, so I anticipate I may give the wrong score to the wrong review some time soon because of this issue until I get used to the fact that it's always coming under the review it references. My guess is this may happen to some other folks that are new to the interface or the system as well.

I would recommend the interface get a minor modification - maybe a little pointer thingie going up, or a tiny arrow pointing up right before the "no users have weighed..." text. Or maybe just a little bit more empty space between each review that would seperate them more noticeably.

Just a though.

I thought it would just be the majority, then I saw this...

Well they removed the X/X users found this helpfulbecause it wasn't helping anyone anymore. It was just facilitating flag abuse. Truth is, regular users don't need to know how many people flagged an entry. They never needed to know that in the first place.

Personally I think the changes are great, and fit better with the current site design.

Yeah, I agree with this. Maybe it's because I never bothered going through thousands of reviews to get a different coloured whistle in my profile; maybe it's not. Anyway, I think there's more of a chance of this system being used properly now, but only time will tell.

As I said, I might have to get used to the numbers, but I like the picture thing. I also like how they got rid of the random, and often not applicable scores, like violence or humour.

Funny, I was recently thinking that we're able to edit news comment responses, so why not edit review responses too? Anyway, I really like the changes here, although the big yellow numbers do look weird. I kinda miss the X/Y users found this review helpful bit, but I can deal with that being gone. What I like the most with the changes is that I can now edit my responses and this is awesome since I occasionally make mistakes when responding to people!

Just one suggestion about the reviews. When I look at my reviews, every review there shows my icon that links to my userpage. IMO, for pages showing one user's reviews, I think an icon of the reviewed flash (that links to the flash) rather than the user's icon would be better.

It looks good, but the pixelated 0-10 score is too big and distracting. The word 'score' and the numbers together look larger than the user avatar. It really draws the eye away from the actual review, and dwarfs the other text and controls nearby.

The change eliminates the bandwagon effect, but people could just skim over the numbers and vote down reviews that gave the submission a low number.

If it was a smaller font size (maybe 14) it would be okay, but it just doesn't fit with everything else as it stands.

Here's a quick mock-up of what I think it should look like. The margins around the controls and info banner have been tightened, and the 'pixels' in the score number are 3x3 instead of 4x4. The review body margins are the same as before, which helps make the text the focal point.

maybe the next change should be letting .png images on the BBS please? I had to run this through Photoshop because Paint mutilates images when you save them as .gif or .jpg. :C

Would probably look much neater with the score text removed and the digit in normal text, arial, size 48 or something, in orange. The avatars are a cool addition too, but the graphical intensity seems a bit unnescecary.

As has been stated many times before, the numbers are too big.

Also I liked the X/X feedback rankings because it let you know if a review was going to be deleted soon or not.

I liked the new Yes|No|Abusive buttons. But I don't like the rest.

Also, when I saw that, I felt like Newgrounds became a little bit more like Youtube.

I agree with this statement. It is definitely unnecessary. It looks like Street Fighter 2 took over our scoring readout.

I think having a background like our orange buttons around here and then a black numner 0-10 woudl look great, stand out and at least match everything else on the site.

My only problem is the same as almost everyone else, the numbers are too big. The pixelated style also doesn't fit well with the rest of the layout.

I think the pricedown font works well with the layout.

Yeah, that sounds even better than my proposition, heh. Would be great with white text instead of black though, twould stand out much more.

I just don't like the massive numbers. I think it's a good idea to have them big, I just think pixelated doesn't go with NG's theme.

The review score numbers could be a little smaller, but it's an improvement.
