Just wondering how expensive is a notebook if you want to use it for flash and internet? What are the most important things? Processor, video card etc..

For just internet and flash you can get a very basic laptop. You should expect to pay between $600-$1,000 with $800 being a pretty good sweet spot. Look for RAM, Dual Core Processor, and a video card last. You are not going to be able to get a great video card for a laptop in this price range anyway.

So I found this computer and it costs $849. It has these specifications:
Intel® Pentium® Dual Core T2330 (1.6GHz/533Mhz FSB/1MB cache)
Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium Edition
Size: 120GB SATA Hard Drive (5400RPM)
1GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 at 667MHz

Is the price too high or good, or are the specifications not so good?

tbh with vista you'll probably want a bit more than 1gb ram I'd imagine.

I have a HP Pavillion dv6000 and it is great for flash and browsing and a little gaming :)

I think it is about $800 maybe less.

Well, it would cost around $1000 upwards for a good comp and then whatever Flash progran you use.

It's going to be between $700 - $1,000 for a good one to do what you're asking.

Here's my computer, it can't even handle you tube or virus protection software.

Is this pretty bad?

Wow, and I thought my laptop was shit.

Check Amazon.com and Newegg.com for a better deal. The price you listed is shit for what you get.

I can also get with 2 gb RAM for $1024, with one year insurance (included in the price).

As I said, I'll only use it for flash and internet, so then I don't think it's necessary getting such a expensive one (I'm still a kid so I don't yet have such an ammount of money, however I live in Europe and the dollar isn't doing so well so that's still "buyable" for me (the one of $1024)).

Tell me about it. And AIM 6.0? Forget about it, when I had that running this comp would freeze the second I get an I.M. So I use the old 4.0 . What's even worse (aside from no you tube, and not being able to handle virus protection and all) the comp has a hard time playing those nice high-quality flash animations you so commonly see on Newgrounds these days. Usually it's ok though, as long as I turn the quality down to low.
