Was Hiroshima+ Nagasaki justified?

Right, I just had to write an opinion piece in school on whether or not the dropping of the atomic bomb on Japan during WWII was justified, and I was wondering what you guys think. I'm not gonna put in my two cents just yet; I want to see what you guys have to say.
