I used to love to watch both of those shows. KND was really fun to watch as a kid though, but now it's just not as good, which sucks.

I get the feeling that the Kids Next Door writers just came up with the word/acronym at the beginning first, then decided to fill what the acronym actually stood for with random things, then based the episode content on that.

Like, they'd have an acronym Operation "V.I.D.E.O G.A.M.E", and then turn it into "Vaginal Insertion Death Elephants Observe Graphically Awesome Movie Effects", and then literally have the whole episode revolve around that ridiculous premise.

after that the only show that is actually pretty good that is still making episodes will be the grim adventures of billy and mandy. although I am guessing that will end before 2009

I loved that show. It was funny, cute and held an everlasting enjoyment. I'LL MISS YOU!!!

Oh no, some crappy over rated kid's television show got cancelled. What will I do on my Friday nights now? I know! I guess I'll just watch a real show on a real network, we all know Cartoon Network went to hell several years ago. Now that they've got ridden of all there decent shows maybe [Adult Swim] can have the entire network, it's not like there is or has been anything good to watch on that poor excuse for a television channel.

I feel like I'm getting old...I remember being in the fourth or fifth grade waiting for fridays to watch fridays, and they would always have a new episode. ._.

On topic of CN was it me or did billy and mandy made a whole reference to G Gundam. Scar said something along the lines of "take my love, my pain and all of my sorrow" or soemthing.

I admit, I think KND was enjoyable....but now it's got this lame plot going around against the teenagers.

The old episodes were cool. It was just random "adventures" of the first 5, instead of that team belonging to a whole team nation in a war. Once that was introduced, it just ruined the series.

Actually, the thing is, most of the new cartoons are just colorful mashups of shitty dialog and ADD-inducing things like talking birds with palm trees for hair and big fat mexican wolverine beasts that cry and like potatoes. They think because there's randomness in it that it'll make up for the crappy writing.
