I have a movie I would like to cut sounds from, I have no idea at all how to do this. I do have Camtasia and obviously windows movie maker.

u know what? I used to know the answer to this but I don't anymore sorry. However for the software you have, I'd check to make sure it doesn't have an audio rip funuction.
