Has anyone else seen this movie?

I'm watching it right now, It's been going on for like 2 hours and we haven't made any progress. We just know that the Zodiac Killer likes a certain book, and that he kills people. Very interesting.

It's so shit, I wish I never payed money to watch it. However, the scene that just occured was pretty suspenseful. A creepy old man, in a basement, with a 31 ish year old. Nothing gay in the slightest. Also, this poor mans wife just left him.

It's the worst movie in the history of bad movies, it drags ON and ON and ON. It's fucking painful.

The really long one? I love that movie. I mean, I can understand impatient people getting, well, impatient with it, but as far as movies go, it was well written, had good acting, and had good cinematography.

Any movie with these three qualities can't be a bad movie, it's just possible that some people, like yourself, won't like it.

I remember thinking it was incredibly long, but at the same time I was completely drawn into it.

Another movie like that is "Beautiful Mind", and I'm sure there's some others I've seen...

I liked the film. The zodiac killer hasn't been identified. All they have is a strong hunch that it is this guy. But...even there are some stuff that doesn't make sense like handwriting and the new found DNA tests... :S

That was unnecessary. What if some people came to this thread that had never seen it, and wanted to?

I was exactly the same. Sure it's a long movie, but if the storyline and characters are beleivable enough, which in this case they are, since it's a true story the film just flows. I enjoyed the movie quite a lot, i prefer movies where you have to actually think about anyway.

A Beautiful Mind is one of my favourite movies of all time, it's just such a tragic tale of a great mans slow downfall into 'madness' through the eyes of his family and friends. The end almost brought a tear to my eye when he got 'the pens' from his peers. Awesome movie.

I like this quote from the wiki article:

"Everyone has a different idea about marketing, but my philosophy is that if you market a movie to 16-year-old boys and don't deliver Saw or Se7en, they're going to be the most vociferous ones coming out of the screening saying 'This movie sucks.' "

It was a good movie if you like the more mystery style ones with a long in depth plot. It covers the entire Zodiac case, so even by that nature its going to be a long movie. I would semi compare it to the "Summer of Sam" movie from what.. late 90's? (1999 actually).
