worth it? or not? if it is worth it ima buy it ASAP.
What I want to learn is how to make an inventory, battle system, level system, read positions from XML files and stuff like that.

It really depends. I'd go to a library and look at how much it's helping you right now. I bought it, but for ME it didn't do much. You should look at it first so that you can see if you understand it or if it's too complicated or not complicated enough.

AS: Main was all I needed. I find actionscript books never go passed the intermediate stuff, and they're so boring to read =/
Learning it online's alot easier because it's on a computer- and so is Flash.

Oh you're so wrong. I have this book which was called AdvancED and it was IMPOSSIBLE TO UNDERSTAND. I think I understood about 1/10th of the words that they used.

I have it. It has a lot of info. It doesn't explain quite as well as other books and seems to be harder to catch up with.
