If you are at the bottom of the Earth and jump, do you fall off the face of the Earth?

Yup, bottom of the Earth is the only place without gravity.

Well I think the continued survival of the kangaroo has busted this myth.

And besides, it would only work if the world was cut in half. Then there would only be downward gravity.

I bet there is someone in the world who will momentarily believe that.

You'd be crushed at the center of the earth, all the gravitational forces collide at that spot.

Better question.
If you drilled all the way through the earth, then jumped into the hole, would you spin around in the core of the earth and go back up, or would you fly out the other side, spin around and fall on your head?

It's either because of gravity, or because they are always druck.

New Zealanders drink more, it's a prove fact.

If you jump off the South Pole, it's natural selection. You deserve exactly what you have coming to you.

Air resistance would sap energy, causing you to travel less distance with each change in direction until you stop waitless at the center of the Earth.

Yep, up and down like a yoyo, not quite making it through the other side of the hole, and then travelling even less distance - gravity and air resistance the only two forces acting on you

of course it'd never work because you'd be drilling through the mantle which is liquid magma

Wow, I don't think so. The gravitational force pushing down on you should stop that from happening. Unless you are in a video game, then it is possible.

Mario from Super Mario World can shoot fire balls under water, WTF is up with that?
